✒️The ESI (Employees State Insurance) scheme was launched by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 24th February 1952 in Kanpur. Through this scheme, insurance is provided to the workers on the basis of need with a social purpose. ESIC helps low-income workers in times of crisis when they fall ill and suffer.

✒️தமிழக முன்னாள் முதல்வர் ஜெ.ஜெயலலிதா அவர்கள் 1948ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 24ஆம் தேதி மைசூரில் பிறந்தார். தனது குழந்தை பருவத்திலிருந்தே, கல்வியில் சிறந்து விளங்கிய ஜெயலலிதா அவர்கள், சட்டம் படிக்க வேண்டும் என்ற ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தார். ஆனால் சூழ்நிலை காரணமாக ஷங்கர்.வி.கிரி அவர்கள் இயக்கிய 'எபிஸில்" என்ற ஆங்கில படம் மூலமாக தனது திரையுலக வாழ்க்கையை தொடங்கினார். இவர் 'வெண்ணிற ஆடை" என்ற படம் மூலமாக தமிழ் திரையுலகில் அறிமுகமானார். இவரது திரை வாழ்க்கைக்கு ஒரு முடிவை தந்த படம் 1980ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியான 'நதியை தேடி வந்த கடல்" ஆகும். அதே ஆண்டில், அதிமுக நிறுவனரான எம்.ஜி.ஆர் அவர்கள், ஜெயலலிதாவை பிரச்சார செயலாளராக நியமித்தார். நான்கு ஆண்டுகளுக்கு பின்னர், அவர் மாநிலங்களவைக்கு நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். எம்.ஜி.ஆரின் மரணத்திற்கு பின், ஜானகி ராமச்சந்திரன் அவர்களை அதிமுகவின் எதிர்கால தலைவராக கட்சி உறுப்பினர்கள் பரிந்துரைத்தனர். ஆனால் 1989ஆம் ஆண்டு அதிமுக கட்சி ஒன்றுபட்டு ஜெயலலிதா தலைமையில் செயல்பட்டது. ஜெயலலிதாவிற்கு தமிழ்நாடு அரசு கலைமாமணி விருது வழங்கி கௌரவித்தது. 1991, 2001, 2011, 2015 மாநில சட்டமன்ற தேர்தல்களில் வெற்றி பெற்று, தலைமை அமைச்சர் பொறுப்பை ஏற்றார். தமிழ்நாட்டின் தங்க தாரகையாக திகழ்ந்த ஜெயலலிதா அவர்கள் 2016ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 5ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார். இவர் பிறந்த தினத்தை மாநில பெண் குழந்தைகள் பாதுகாப்பு தினமாக (State Girl Child Protection Day) தமிழக அரசு அறிவித்துள்ளது.
