✒️Vairamuthu a renowned poet who holds a special place in the hearts of every Tamil fan, was born on 13th July 1953 in Vadugapatti, Theni district. He made his debut as a lyricist in the 1980 movie named "Nizhalgal"(Shadows). His first song "Idhu oru pon maalai pozhudhu" (It is a Golden Evening) was a huge hit. He has also written various novels, poetry collections, books etc. He has also received Tamil Nadu State Award, Kalaimamani Award, Padma Shri Award and National Awards.
