The Suits Valuation Act, 1887 :
✒️It was enacted on 11th February 1887 and came into force on 1st March 1889, to prescribe the mode of valuing certain suits for the purpose of determining the jurisdiction of Courts with respect there to.
The Equal Remuneration Act, 1976 :
✒️It was enacted on 11th February 1976 and came into force on 8th March 1976, to provide for the payment of equal remuneration to men and women workers and for the prevention of discrimination, on the ground of sex, against women in the matter of employment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
உலக யுனானி நாள் - World Unani Day :
✒️World Unani Day is observed to celebrate the Unani system of medicine. The day is observed on February 11, the birth anniversary of Hakim Ajmal Khan, a pioneer of Unani medicine from India.
- யுனானி மருத்துவ முறையை கொண்டாடும் விதமாக உலக யுனானி நாள் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது. யுனானி மருத்துவத்தின் முன்னோடியான, இந்தியாவைச் சேர்ந்த ஹக்கிம் அஜ்மல் கானின் பிறந்த தினமான பிப்ரவரி 11ஆம் தேதி இந்த நாள் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
சர்வதேச பெண்கள் மற்றும் சிறுமிகளுக்கான அறிவியல் தினம் - International Day of Women and Girls in Science :
✒️International Day of Women and Girls in Science is observed on 11th February every year. This day was declared by the United Nations General Assembly. The day is celebrated to recognize women and girls who have played an important role in the field of science and technology.
- ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் பிப்ரவரி 11-ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச பெண்கள் மற்றும் சிறுமிகளுக்கான அறிவியல் தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்நாள் ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பொது சபையால் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்நாளில் அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்பத் துறையில் முக்கிய பங்கு வகிக்கும் பெண்கள் மற்றும் சிறுமிகளை அங்கீகரிக்கும் வகையில் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
உலக திருமண தினம் - World Marriage Day :
✒️World Marriage Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of February to honour and celebrate the sanctity of marriage and the commitment and sacrifice of couples to each other.
- உலக திருமண நாள் என்பது திருமணத்தின் புனிதத்தன்மை மற்றும் தம்பதிகளின் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் அர்ப்பணிப்பு, தியாகம் ஆகியவற்றை மதிக்கவும் கொண்டாடவும் ஆண்டுதோறும் பிப்ரவரி இரண்டாவது ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.
தாமஸ் ஆல்வா எடிசன் - Thomas Alva Edison - American Inventor (who Invented more Inventions in world history) - Businessman :
✒️Thomas Alva Edison, who discovered more inventions in world history, was born on February 11, 1847 in America. He has patented more than a thousand inventions. He has patented more than a thousand inventions. His inventions include electric bulb, electric generator, telegraph system, electric fan, radio valve, megaphone, motor, telephone speaker, loudspeaker, gramophone, movie camera and military equipment. After accomplishing a feat, he won't be there to receive the accolades. He would have gone into the research lab for the next discovery. When asked about this, he said, 'I don't want to waste today's time talking about yesterday's invention.' Even though he did not learn anything like science and mathematics, Edison, who achieved a number of achievements that no one else in the history of the world could come close to, died on October 18, 1931. When his body was laid to rest, according to the orders of the then US President Herbert Hoover, electric lights were switched off for one minute across the United States. - உலக வரலாற்றில் அதிக கண்டுபிடிப்புகளை கண்டறிந்த தாமஸ் ஆல்வா எடிசன் 1847ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 11ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவின் ஓஹையோ மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள மிலான் என்னும் ஊரில் பிறந்தார். தன்னுடைய சிறுவயதில் ஸ்கார்லட் காய்ச்சலால் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட இவர் 8 வயதில் தான் பள்ளியில் சேர்க்கப்பட்டார். பிறகு மூன்றே மாதத்தில் பள்ளியை விட்டு நின்ற இவர், தன்னுடைய அம்மாவிடம் பாடம் கற்றார். பார்க்கும் எதையும் சோதித்து அறியும் ஆர்வம் சிறுவயதில் இருந்தே இவருக்கு உண்டு. கோழி அடைகாத்து குஞ்சு பொரிப்பதைப் பார்த்த சிறுவன் எடிசன் தானும் முட்டைகள் மேல் அமர்ந்து சோதனை செய்து பார்த்திருக்கிறார். எடிசன் தன்னுடைய 11 வயதிற்குள் ரிச்சர்ட் பார்க்கர், தாமஸ் பைன், சர் ஐசக் நியூட்டன் ஆகியோரின் புத்தகங்கள் உட்பட ஏராளமான புத்தகங்களை கற்றுத் தேர்ந்தார். ரயில் நிலையத்தில் பணியாற்றிய போது, 'கிராண்ட் ட்ரங்க் ஹெரால்ட்" வாரப் பத்திரிக்கையை அச்சிட்டு வெளியிட்டார். மேலும் அங்கேயே சோதனைக் கூடம் அமைத்து கண்டுபிடிப்புகளை தொடங்கினார். இவர் தன் வாழ்நாளில் ஆயிரத்திற்கும் மேற்பட்ட கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்கு காப்புரிமை பெற்றுள்ளார். மின்சார பல்பு, எலக்ட்ரிக் ஜெனரேட்டர், டெலிகிராம் சிஸ்டம், எலக்ட்ரிக் ஃபேன், ரேடியோ வால்வ், மெகா போன், மோட்டார், மின்சார இருப்புப்பாதை, தொலைபேசி ஸ்பீக்கர், ஒலிபெருக்கி, கிராமஃபோன், மூவி கேமரா, ராணுவ சாதனங்கள் ஆகியவை இவரது கண்டுபிடிப்புகளில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவை. ஒரு சாதனையை நிகழ்த்திய பிறகு, அதற்கான பாராட்டுக்களைப் பெற அவர் அங்கே இருக்கமாட்டார். அடுத்த கண்டுபிடிப்புக்காக ஆராய்ச்சி கூடத்திற்குள் போயிருப்பார். இதுபற்றி கேட்டால், 'நேற்றைய கண்டுபிடிப்பு பற்றி பேசி இன்றைய நேரத்தை வீணடிக்க விரும்பவில்லை" என்பார். இத்தனைக்கும் அறிவியல், கணிதம் என்று முறையாக எதையும் கற்காமல், உலக சரித்திரத்தில் வேறு எவரும் அருகில் நெருங்க முடியாத எண்ணிக்கையில் சாதனை படைத்த எடிசன் 1931ஆம் ஆண்டு மறைந்தார். இவரது உடலை அடக்கம் செய்யும்போது, அமெரிக்க அதிபர் ஹெர்பர்ட் ஹூவர் உத்தரவின் படி, அமெரிக்கா முழுவதும் மின் விளக்குகள் ஒரு நிமிடம் அணைக்கப்பட்டன.
