The Atomic Energy Act, 1962 :

✒️It was enacted on 15th September 1962 and came into force on 21st September 1962, to provide for the development, control and use of atomic energy for the welfare of the people of India and for other peaceful purposes and for matters connected therewith.

The National Dairy Development Board Act, 1987 :

✒️It was enacted on 15th September 1987 & came into force on 12th October 1987, to declare the institution known as the National Dairy Development Board in the State of Gujarat to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its incorporation and for the vesting in that body corporate of the undertakings of the Indian Dairy Corporation with a view to provide for the administration and the carrying on of the functions to be performed by the body corporate more effectively throughout the country and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

The Lok Sahayak Sena Act, 1956 :

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 15th September 1956, to provide for the constitution of Lok Sahayak Sena for imparting military training to citizens of India.

The Extradition Act, 1962 :

✒️It was enacted on 15th September 1962 & came into force on 5th January 1963, to consolidate and amend the law relating to the extradition of fugitive criminals and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

உலக லிம்போமா விழிப்புணர்வு தினம் - World Lymphoma Awareness Day :

✒️World Lymphoma Awareness Day (WLAD) is observed on 15th September every year. Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer. This event is observed to create awareness about lymphoma among people.

• உலக லிம்போமா விழிப்புணர்வு தினம் (WLAD) ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செப்டம்பர் 15ம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. லிம்போமா என்பது ஒரு வகை ரத்த புற்றுநோயாகும். லிம்போமா பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை மக்களிடையே ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.

சர்வதேச மக்களாட்சி தினம் - International Day of Democracy :

✒️The UN aims to promote democracy and respect human rights and fundamental freedoms. The Assembly declared 15th September as the International Day of Democracy on 8th November 2007.

• ஜனநாயகத்தை ஊக்குவிக்கவும், மனித உரிமைகள் மற்றும் அடிப்படைச் சுதந்திரம் போன்றவற்றிற்குரிய கௌரவத்தை கொடுக்கும் நோக்கில் ஐ.நா. சபை 2007ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 8ஆம் தேதி அனைத்துலக மக்களாட்சி தினமாக செப்டம்பர் 15ஆம் தேதியை அறிவித்தது.

C.N.Annadurai - Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu

சி.என்.அண்ணாதுரை - C.N.Annadurai - Former Chief Minister of Tamilnadu - Politician - Writer :

✒️Conjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, the founder of the Dravidian movement in the political field of Tamil Nadu, was born on 15 September 1909 in Kanchipuram. He was inspired by Periyar's principles and joined the Dravidar Kazhagam (social movement). Later he left the Dravidar Kazhagam and started the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in 1949. He was elected as a member of Rajya Sabha in 1962. He became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won a landslide victory in the 1967 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. He is the person who changed the name of Madras State to Tamil Nadu. C.N.Annadurai, who created a new history in the political field, died of cancer in 1969. About one and a half crore people attended his funeral and this event is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

• தமிழக அரசியல் களத்தில் திராவிட இயக்கத்தை உருவாக்கிய 'அறிஞர் அண்ணா" சி.என்.அண்ணாதுரை 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 15ஆம் தேதி காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் பெரியாரின் கொள்கைகளால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு திராவிடர் கழகத்தில் சேர்ந்தார். பிறகு தி.க.வில் இருந்து விலகி 1949ஆம் ஆண்டு திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார்.

• இவர் மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினராக 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற தமிழக சட்டப்பேரவை தேர்தலில் இவரது திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் மகத்தான வெற்றி பெற்றதையடுத்து தமிழக முதல்வரானார். இவரே மதராஸ் மாநிலம் என்ற பெயரை தமிழ்நாடு என மாற்றினார்.

• அரசியல் களத்தில் புதிய வரலாறு படைத்த சி.என்.அண்ணாதுரை புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 3ந் தேதி மறைந்தார். இவரது இறுதிச் சடங்கில் சுமார் ஒன்றரை கோடி மக்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்வு கின்னஸ் உலக புத்தகத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.

எம்.விஸ்வேஸ்வரய்யா -  Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya - Famous Indian Civil Engineer :

✒️The world famous Indian engineer M. Visvesvaraya was born on 15th September 1860 in Muttanahalli, a village in Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka state. His full name is Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. In honor of his memory, his birthday is celebrated as "Engineers' Day" in India. He developed weir water floodgates to protect people from floods. He has received Sir title and Bharat Ratna Award from the British Government. Hailed as the father of Indian engineering, was died on April 14, 1962.

• உலகப் புகழ்பெற்ற இந்தியப் பொறியாளர் எம்.விஸ்வேஸ்வரய்யா 1860ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 15ஆம் தேதி கர்நாடக மாநிலம், சிங்கபல்லபுரா மாவட்டத்தின் முட்டனஹள்ளி என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது முழுப்பெயர், மோக்ஷகுண்டம் விஸ்வேஸ்வரய்யா. இவரது நினைவைப் போற்றும் வகையில் இவரது பிறந்த தினம், இந்தியாவில் "பொறியாளர்கள் தினம்" ஆக கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

• இவர் வெள்ளத்திலிருந்து மக்களைப் பாதுகாக்க நீர்த்தேக்கத்தில் வெள்ளத்தடுப்பு அமைப்பு முறையை (weir water floodgates) உருவாக்கினார். ஆங்கில அரசின் சர் பட்டமும், பாரத ரத்னா விருதும் பெற்றுள்ளார். இந்தியப் பொறியியலின் தந்தை எனப் போற்றப்பட்ட இவர் 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 14ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
