The Atomic Energy Act, 1962 :
✒️It was enacted on 15th September 1962 and came into force on 21st September 1962, to provide for the development, control and use of atomic energy for the welfare of the people of India and for other peaceful purposes and for matters connected therewith.
The National Dairy Development Board Act, 1987 :
✒️It was enacted on 15th September 1987 & came into force on 12th October 1987, to declare the institution known as the National Dairy Development Board in the State of Gujarat to be an institution of national importance and to provide for its incorporation and for the vesting in that body corporate of the undertakings of the Indian Dairy Corporation with a view to provide for the administration and the carrying on of the functions to be performed by the body corporate more effectively throughout the country and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.

✒️Conjeevaram Natarajan Annadurai, the founder of the Dravidian movement in the political field of Tamil Nadu, was born on 15 September 1909 in Kanchipuram. He was inspired by Periyar's principles and joined the Dravidar Kazhagam (social movement). Later he left the Dravidar Kazhagam and started the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in 1949. He was elected as a member of Rajya Sabha in 1962. He became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won a landslide victory in the 1967 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. He is the person who changed the name of Madras State to Tamil Nadu. C.N.Annadurai, who created a new history in the political field, died of cancer in 1969. About one and a half crore people attended his funeral and this event is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.
- தமிழக அரசியல் களத்தில் திராவிட இயக்கத்தை உருவாக்கிய 'அறிஞர் அண்ணா" சி.என்.அண்ணாதுரை 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 15ஆம் தேதி காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் பெரியாரின் கொள்கைகளால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு திராவிடர் கழகத்தில் சேர்ந்தார். பிறகு தி.க.வில் இருந்து விலகி 1949ஆம் ஆண்டு திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார்.
- இவர் மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினராக 1962ஆம் ஆண்டு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைபெற்ற தமிழக சட்டப்பேரவை தேர்தலில் இவரது திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகம் மகத்தான வெற்றி பெற்றதையடுத்து தமிழக முதல்வரானார். இவரே மதராஸ் மாநிலம் என்ற பெயரை தமிழ்நாடு என மாற்றினார்.
- அரசியல் களத்தில் புதிய வரலாறு படைத்த சி.என்.அண்ணாதுரை புற்றுநோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 3ந் தேதி மறைந்தார். இவரது இறுதிச் சடங்கில் சுமார் ஒன்றரை கோடி மக்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர். இந்நிகழ்வு கின்னஸ் உலக புத்தகத்தில் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளது.

✒️The world famous Indian engineer M. Visvesvaraya was born on 15th September 1860 in Muttanahalli, a village in Chikkaballapura district of Karnataka state. His full name is Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. In honor of his memory, his birthday is celebrated as "Engineers' Day" in India. He developed weir water floodgates to protect people from floods. He has received Sir title and Bharat Ratna Award from the British Government. Hailed as the father of Indian engineering, was died on April 14, 1962.
