The Prisoners (Attendance in Courts) Act, 1955 :
✒️It was enacted on 20th September 1955 & came into force on 1st January 1956, to provide for the attendance in courts of persons confined in prisons for obtaining their evidence or for answering a criminal charge.
The Central Silk Board Act, 1948 :
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 20th September 1948, to provide for the development under Central control of the silk industry and for that purpose to establish a Central Silk Board.
The Inter-State Corporations Act, 1957:
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 20th September 1957, to provide for the reorganisation of certain corporations functioning in two or more States by virtue of section 109 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956, and for matters connected therewith.
மார்க்கண்டேய கட்சு - Markandey Katju - Former Judge of Supreme Court of India:
✒️Markandey Katju was born on 20th September 1946, at lucknow, India, a former Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Chief Justice of the High Courts (Delhi & Madras). He studied Allahabad University in 1967 and passed as first in Law. He was Honorary Professor at National Law University, New Delhi, Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, Lucknow. He was the President of the Press Council of India from 2011 to 2014. He who spread good ideas for social change turns 77 today.
- முன்னாள் இந்திய உச்சநீதி மன்ற நீதிபதியாகவும், டெல்லி, சென்னை உள்ளிட்ட உயர்நீதி மன்றங்களில் முதன்மை நீதிபதியாகவும் இருந்த மார்க்கண்டேய கட்சு 1946ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி, லக்னோவில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 1967-இல் அலகாபாத் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பயின்று சட்டப் படிப்பில் முதல் மாணவராகத் தேர்ச்சிப் பெற்றார். இவர் தேசிய சட்டப் பல்கலைக்கழகம் புது தில்லி, ராம் மனோகர் லோஹியா தேசிய சட்டப் பல்கலைகழகம், லக்னோ ஆகியவற்றில் கௌரவப் பேராசிரியராக இருந்தார். இவர் 2011 முதல் 2014 வரை இந்தியப் பத்திரிக்கை கவுன்சில் தலைவராக இருந்தார். சமூக மாற்றத்திற்கான நல்ல கருத்துகளைப் பரப்பிய இவர் இன்று தனது 77வது வயதில் அடியெடுத்து வைக்கிறார்.

ஜேம்ஸ் திவார் - James Dewar - Chemist & Physicist :
✒️James Dewar, the inventor of the vacuum flask, was born on September 20, 1842 in the village of Kincardine in Scotland. In 1897, he discovered that double-walled glass jars, with a vacuum, and with some modifications, could preserve materials not only in cold conditions but also in hot conditions. Since heat can radiate away through the vacuum, Dewar coated the inside of the flask with silver to prevent any heat from escaping. Later, he discovered the explosive cordite. He constructed a double-walled vessel design as a glass flask and tested the cold and heat stability of the liquid inside by trapping various gases in the space between the two walls. James Dewar, popular in almost all countries of the world and admired by the scientific world, passed away at the age of 80 (27-3-1923).
- வாக்கும் பிளாஸ்க்கை (vacuum flask) கண்டுபிடித்த ஜேம்ஸ் திவார் 1842ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி ஸ்காட்லாந்தில் உள்ள கின்கார்டைன் எனும் கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 1897ல் இரட்டைசுவர் கண்ணாடி குடுவையில், வெற்றிடத்தோடு, மேலும் சில மாறுதல்களை செய்த போது, குளிர் நிலையில் மட்டுமல்ல, வெப்ப நிலையிலும் பொருட்களை பாதுகாக்க முடியும் என்பதை கண்டறிந்தார். வெற்றிடத்தின் வழியாக வெப்பம் கதிராக வெளியேறிவிட முடியும் என்பதால், குடுவையின் உட்புறம், வெள்ளி முலாம் பூசி, அதில் சிறிதளவு வெப்பமும் வெளியேற வாய்ப்பின்றி தடுத்தார் திவார். பிறகு, கார்டைட் என்ற வெடிப்பொருளை கண்டுபிடித்தார். இரட்டை சுவர் பாத்திர வடிவமைப்பை கண்ணாடி குடுவையாக ஏற்படுத்தி, பலவித வாயுக்களை அந்த இரண்டு சுவருக்கும் இடைப்பட்ட இடைவெளியில் அடைத்து வைத்து உள்ளிருக்கும் திரவத்தின் குளிர், வெப்பம் மாறா தன்மையை சோதனை செய்தார். கிட்டதட்ட உலகின் எல்லா நாடுகளிலும் பிரபலமான, விஞ்ஞான உலகமே பார்த்து வியந்த ஜேம்ஸ் திவார், தனது 80வது வயதில் (27.03.1923) மறைந்தார்.

🌟1927ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரர் பர்கதுல்லா மறைந்தார் - On September 20, 1927, Indian freedom fighter Barakatullah passed away.
🌟 பெண் விடுதலைக்காக போராடிய அன்னி பெசன்ட் அம்மையார்,1933ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி, மறைந்தார் - On September 20, 1933, Annie Besant Ammaiyar, who fought for women's liberation, passed away.
🌟 துருவ செயற்கை கோள் ஏவுகணையை இந்தியா 1993ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி ஏவியது - On September 20, 1993, India launched the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle.
