The Explosives Act, 1884 :

✒️It was enacted on 26th February 1884 & came into force on 1st July 1887, to regulate the manufacture, possession, use, sale,transport, import and export of explosives.

The Insurance Act, 1938 :

✒️It was enacted on 26th February 1938 and came into force on 1st July 1939, to consolidate and amend the law relating to the business of insurance.

The Indian Soldiers (Litigation) Act, 1925 :

✒️It was enacted on 26th February 1925 and came into force on 1st April 1925, to consolidate and amend the law to provide for the special protection in respect of civil and revenue litigation of Indian soldiers serving under special conditions.

லெவி ஸ்ட்ராஸ் - Levi Strauss - German-Born American Businessman (founded the first company to manufacture blue Jeans) :

✒️Levi Strauss, the first manufacturer of jeans that revolutionized the world, was born on February 26, 1829, in the city of Battenheim in Bavaria, Germany. He started a business in California under the name 'Levi Strauss.' The miners lamented to him that their pants were often torn as they worked among the rough tools. He immediately thought that if he sewed pants on canvas, the problems of the workers would be solved and his clothes that were in stock would be solved. He started sewing canvas pants with David Sten. They were renamed 'Denim' and spread all over the world. Later, he bought a blue fabric called 'Jennos' and sewed the pants. Its name was changed to 'Blue Jeans' and it remained the same. Thereafter 'Levi Strauss and Company' was launched. Due to his business strategy and hard work, Levi Strauss, who achieved great growth and made a record as a successful businessman, died on September 26, 1902.

✒️உலகில் மாபெரும் புரட்சியை ஏற்படுத்திய ஜீன்ஸ் வகை ஆடையை முதன்முதலில் தயாரித்த லெவி ஸ்ட்ராஸ் (Levi Strauss) 1829ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 26ஆம் தேதி ஜெர்மனியின் பவேரியா பகுதியில் உள்ள பட்டன்ஹேம் நகரில் பிறந்தார். கலிபோர்னியாவில் 'லெவி ஸ்ட்ராஸ்" என்ற பெயரில் வியாபாரம் தொடங்கினார். கேன்வாஸ் துணிகளை தவிர மற்ற துணி வகைகள் விற்றுத் தீர்ந்தன. அதை என்ன செய்வது என்று யோசித்தப்படியே இருந்தார். கரடுமுரடான கருவிகள் மத்தியில் வேலை செய்வதால் பேன்ட் அடிக்கடி கிழிந்துவிடுவதாக சுரங்கத் தொழிலாளர்கள் இவரிடம் வருத்தத்தோடு கூறினர். உடனே இவர் 'கேன்வாஸ் துணியில் பேன்ட் தைத்தால், தொழிலாளர்களின் பிரச்சனையும் தீரும், தேங்கிக் கிடக்கும் தனது துணியும் தீரும்" என்று யோசித்தார். டேவிட் ஸ்டென் என்பவரையும் சேர்த்துக்கொண்டு கேன்வாஸ் பேன்ட் தைக்கும் வேலையில் இறங்கினார். இந்த உறுதியான பேன்ட் சுரங்கத் தொழிலாளர்கள் மத்தியில் பெரும் வரவேற்பை பெற்றது. அவை 'டெனிம்" என பெயர் மாற்றம் அடைந்து உலகம் முழுவதும் பரவியது. பிறகு, 'ஜென்னொஸ்" என்ற நீல நிறத் துணியை வாங்கி பேன்ட் தைத்தார். அதன் பெயர் ' ப்ளூ ஜீன்ஸ்" என்று மாறி அதுவே நிலைத்துவிட்டது. அதன்பின் 'லெவி ஸ்ட்ராஸ் அண்ட் கம்பெனி" தொடங்கப்பட்டது. தனது வியாபார உத்தியாலும், கடின உழைப்பாலும் மாபெரும் வளர்ச்சி பெற்று, வெற்றிகரமான வியாபாரியாக சாதனை படைத்த லெவி ஸ்ட்ராஸ் 1902ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 26ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

Thara Bharathi - Renowned Poet

தாராபாரதி - Thara Bharathi - Poet :

✒️Poet Thara Bharathi from Tamil Nadu was born on February 26, 1947 in Kuvalai, Tiruvannamalai district. His birth name was Radhakrishnan. He is a recipient of Tamil Nadu Government's Good Teacher Award for his 34 years of teaching service. His works include Pudhiya Vidiyalgal (New Dawns), Edhu Engal Kizhakku (This is Our East), Viral Nuni Velichangal (Fingertip Lights), Kavinyayiru Thara Bharathi Poems. The Government of Tamil Nadu nationalized his books in 2010-11. He was known by the special name Kavinyayiru and passed away on May 13, 2000.

✒️ தமிழகத்தை சேர்ந்த கவிஞர் தாராபாரதி 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 26ஆம் தேதி திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் 'குவளை" என்னும் சிற்றூரில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் ராதாகிருஷ்ணன். 34 ஆண்டுகள் ஆசிரியர் பணி சேவைக்காக தமிழக அரசின் நல்லாசிரியர் விருது பெற்றவர். புதிய விடியல்கள், இது எங்கள் கிழக்கு, விரல்நுனி வெளிச்சங்கள், கவிஞாயிறு தாராபாரதி கவிதைகள் ஆகியவை இவரது படைப்புகளாகும். தமிழ்நாடு அரசு 2010-11ஆம் ஆண்டில் இவரது நூல்களை நாட்டுடைமை ஆக்கியுள்ளது. கவிஞாயிறு என்ற சிறப்பு பெயரால் அழைக்கப்படும் இவர் 2000ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 13ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
