āļøAlexander Graham Bell, the inventor of the telephone, was born on March 3, 1847 in Scotland. He was named Alexander Graham Bell after his family friend Alexander Graham. He played the piano and transmitted the music over a certain distance through electricity. In the same way, he thought that speaking could also be transmitted, and accordingly started research. In 1876 he made the world's first telephone call to his assistant Watson. Later, in 1877, he started the Bell Telephone Company with Watson. He received patents for about 60 inventions. He who revolutionized information, died on 2nd August 1922 at the age of 75.

āļøFather of Indian Industry Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata was born on March 3, 1839 at Navsari, Gujarat. He worked in his father's company till the age of 29. He started his own trading company in 1868 with an investment of Rs.21,000. He subsequently established many factories. He devoted his life to establishing an iron and steel company, a world-class educational institution, a unique hotel and a hydro-electric power plant. His lifelong dream of a hotel became a reality. The Taj Hotel was opened in 1903 in Mumbai. He was the founder of the Tata Group, which is now India's largest industrial empire, and died on May 19, 1904.
