The Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 :
✒️It was enacted on 10th January 2020 and came into force on 5th December 2019, to provide for protection of rights of transgender persons and their welfare and for matters connected therewith and incidental thereto.
The Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 :
✒️It was enacted on 10th January 2007 and came into force on 1st November 2007, to provide for the prohibition of solemnisation of child marriages and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
உலக இந்தி தினம் - World Hindi Day :
✒️World Hindi Day is celebrated on 10th January every year. Hindi is the third most spoken language in the world after Mandarin and English. This day marks the anniversary of the World Hindi Conference held in Nagpur, Maharashtra from January 10, 1975.
Note: Apart from World Hindi day, Hindi Day is also celebrated in India on September 14.
- உலக இந்தி தினம், ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஜனவரி 10ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது. மாண்டரின் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத்திற்குப் பிறகு உலகில் அதிகம் பேசப்படும் மூன்றாவது மொழி இந்தி. 1975ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 10ந் தேதி முதல் மகாராஷ்டிர மாநிலம் நாக்பூரில் நடைபெற்ற உலக இந்தி மாநாட்டின் ஆண்டு நிறைவைக் குறிப்பதாக இந்நாள் அமைகிறது.

குருதயாள் சிங் - Gurdial Singh Rahi - Indian Writer & Novelist :
✒️The famous Punjabi literary man Gurdial Singh was born on January 10, 1933 in a village named Baini Fateh in the state of Punjab. He entered into the world of literature in the year 1957 with the short story of Bhaganwale. He has published 12 collections of short stories including Saggi Phull, Kutta Te Aadmi, Begana pind. He has received around 17 awards including Padma Shri, Shiromani Sahitkar, Punjab Sahitya Academy Award, Soviet Land Nehru Award, Jnan Peeth Award. Such a great literary was passed away on 16th August 2016.
- பிரபல பஞ்சாப் இலக்கியவாதி குருதயாள் சிங் 1933ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 10ஆம் தேதி பஞ்சாப் மாநிலத்தில் பாயினி ஃபதேஹ் என்ற கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் 1957ஆம் ஆண்டு பாகன்வாலே என்ற சிறுகதையின் மூலம் இலக்கிய உலகில் அடியெடுத்து வைத்தார். இவர் சகி பூல், குட்டா தே ஆத்மி, பெகனா பிந்த் உள்ளிட்ட 12 சிறுகதை தொகுப்புகளை வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். பத்மஸ்ரீ, ஷிரோமணி சாஹித்கார், பஞ்சாப் சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருது, சோவியத் லாண்ட் நேரு விருது உள்ளிட்ட ஏறக்குறைய 17 விருதுகளையும் பெற்றுள்ளார். ஞானபீட விருது பெற்ற இவர் 2016ஆம் ஆண்டு மறைந்தார்.

கரோலஸ் லின்னேயஸ் - Carl Linnaeus - Swedish Botanist, Zoologist, Taxonomist & known as the "Father of Modern Taxonomy" :
✒️Today is his memorial day!
✒️Carolus Linnaeus, the father of modern taxonomy, was
born on May 23, 1707, in the village of Raschelt, Sweden. After completing his studies, he worked as a lecturer in a university. After that he researched not only plants and birds but also geography and wrote numerous notes. Discovered new species of plants and wrote a book called Flora Lapponica. His System of Nature was published in 1735 and created a stir in the botanical world. In 1753, he arranged, classified and named all the plants in Plant Species, which is regarded as a masterpiece in the field of natural science. Considered one of the pioneers of modern ecology, Carolus Linnaeus died on January 10, 1778.

- நவீன வகைப்பாட்டியலின் தந்தை கரோலஸ் லின்னேயஸ் 1707ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 23ஆம் தேதி ஸ்வீடனின் ராஷல்ட் கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவர் படிப்பை முடித்துவிட்டு ஒரு பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் விரிவுரையாளராக பணியாற்றினார். அதன்பிறகு தாவரங்கள், பறவைகள் மட்டுமல்லாமல் புவியியல் குறித்தும் ஆராய்ந்து ஏராளமான குறிப்புகளை எழுதினார். புதுவகை தாவரங்களைக் கண்டறிந்து ஃப்ளோரோ லேப்போனிகா என்ற நூலை எழுதினார். இவரது சிஸ்டம் ஆஃப் நேச்சர் நூல் 1735ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்து, தாவரவியல் உலகில் பரபரப்பை ஏற்படுத்தியது. 1753ஆம் ஆண்டு இயற்கை அறிவியல் களத்தில் மாஸ்டர் பீஸ் எனக் குறிப்பிடப்பட்ட பிளான்ட் ஸ்பீசிஸ் நூலில் அனைத்து தாவரங்களையும் வரிசைப்படுத்தி, வகைப்படுத்தி, அனைத்துக்கும் பொருத்தமாக பெயர் சூட்டினார். தற்கால சூழலியலின் முன்னோடிகளில் ஒருவராக கருதப்படும் கரோலஸ் லின்னேயஸ் 1778ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 10ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟1940ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 10ஆம் தேதி புகழ்பெற்ற திரைப்படப் பின்னணிப் பாடகர் கே.ஜே.யேசுதாஸ் கேரள மாநிலம், கொச்சியில் பிறந்தார் - On 10th January, 1940, famous film playback singer K.J.Yesudas was born in Kochi, Kerala.
