In that line today we are going to know about "The Chit Funds Act, 1982 - World Humanitarian Day - World Photography Day - Sundara Sastri Satyamurti, Indian Independence Activist, Politician - Blaise Pascal, Inventor - Orville Wright - Aviation Pioneer, Inventor -  Shankar Dhayal Sharma, Former President of India - Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft."

The Chit Funds Act, 1982 : 

✒️It was enacted on 19th August 1982 and came into force on 2nd April 1984, to provide for the regulation of chit funds and for matters connected therewith.

 

The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996 :

✒️It was enacted on 19th August, 1996 & as per Sec 1 (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 1st March, 1996, to regulate the employment and conditions of service of building and other construction workers and to provide for their safety, health and welfare measures and for other matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Cess Act, 1996 :

✒️It was enacted on 19th August, 1996 & as per Sec 1 (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 3rd November, 1995, to provide for the levy and collection of a cess on the cost of construction incurred by employers with a view to augmenting the resources of the Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Boards constituted under the Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996.

உலக மனிதநேய தினம் - World Humanitarian Day :

✒️The first World Humanitarian Day was celebrated worldwide on August 19, 2009. Some good people will fight with their own lives to lend a helping hand to the victims of war, natural calamities, disease, malnutrition etc. This festival is observed since 2009 all over the world as a way of remembering them.

• முதலாவது உலக மனிதநேய தினத்தை, 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதியன்று முதல் உலகம் முழுவதும் கொண்டாடப்பட்டது. 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் இந்நாள் கடைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. போர், இயற்கைப் பேரழிவு, நோய், ஊட்டச்சத்து பற்றாக்குறை போன்ற காரணங்களால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களுக்கு உதவிக்கரம் நீட்டும் சில நல்ல மனிதர்கள் தங்கள் உயிரைக்கூடப் பொருட்படுத்தாமல் போராடுவார்கள். இவர்களை நினைவுகூறும் விதமாக இத்தினம் உலகம் முழுவதும் கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

உலக புகைப்பட தினம் - World Photography Day  :

✒️Louis Daguerre invented the Daguerreotype photographic process. The method was approved by the French Academy of Sciences. Its activities were announced to the whole world on August 19, 1839 as free to the World. To commemorate this and to celebrate the beauty of photography and the talent of photographers, Photography Day is celebrated around the world on 19th August every year.

• லூயிஸ் டாகுவேரே என்பவர்தான் டாகுரியோடைப் (Daguerreotype) என்ற புகைப்படத்தின் செயல்முறையை வடிவமைத்தவர். இந்த முறைக்கு பிரான்ஸ் அகாடமி ஆஃப் சயின்ஸ் ஒப்புதல் அளித்தது. இதன் செயற்பாடுகளை 1839ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி ப்ரீ டூ தி வேர்ல்ட் என உலகம் முழுவதும் அறிவித்தது. இத்தினத்தை நினைவுகூறவும், மேலும் புகைப்படங்களின் சிறப்பையும், புகைப்படக்காரர்களின் திறமையும் கொண்டாடும் வகையிலும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி புகைப்பட தினம் உலகம் முழுவதும் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

Satyamurti - Independence Activist, Politician

சத்தியமூர்த்தி - Sundara Sastri Satyamurti - Indian Independence Activist - Politician :

✒️Freedom fighter Satyamurthi was born on 19th August 1887 at Thirumayam in Pudukkottai district. He was arrested in 1930 when he tried to hoist the national flag at the Parthasarathy temple in Chennai. Then, in 1939, when he was serving as the mayor of Chennai, the Second World War took place. At that time there was severe water shortage in Chennai. To solve this, he fought with the British government and got the draft approval for Poondi Reservoir and laid the foundation stone for it in his short one-year tenure. In memory of his incomparable work, the Tamil Nadu Congress Party headquarters has been named Satyamurthi Bhavan. Sathyamurthy, popularly known as Theerar, Sollin Selvar and Naavarasar, died on March 28, 1943 after suffering from spinal cord injury.

• விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரர் சத்தியமூர்த்தி 1887ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி புதுக்கோட்டை மாவட்டத்திலுள்ள திருமயத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் சென்னை பார்த்தசாரதி கோவிலில் 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு தேசிய கொடியை ஏற்ற முயன்றபோது கைது செய்யப்பட்டார். அதன்பின், இவர் 1939ஆம் ஆண்டு சென்னையில் மேயராகப் பணியாற்றிய போது, இரண்டாம் உலகப்போர் நடைபெற்றது. அந்த நேரத்தில் சென்னையில் கடும் தண்ணீர் பஞ்சம் நிலவியது. இதனைத் தீர்க்க பிரித்தானிய அரசுடன் போராடி பூண்டி நீர்தேக்கத்திற்கான வரைவு ஒப்புதலைப் பெற்று தமது குறுகிய ஓராண்டு பணிக்காலத்திலேயே அதற்கு அடிக்கல்லை நாட்டினார்.

• இவரது ஒப்பற்ற பணியை நினைவுகூர்ந்து தமிழ்நாடு காங்கிரஸ் கட்சி தலைமை அலுவலகத்திற்கு சத்தியமூர்த்தி பவன் எனப் பெயரிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. தீரர், சொல்லின் செல்வர், நாவரசர் என்றெல்லாம் புகழப்பட்ட சத்தியமூர்த்தி, முதுகுத்தண்டு காயத்தால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டு 1943ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 28ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟1662ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி கால்குலேட்டரை கண்டுபிடித்தவரும், கணிதத்தில் பாஸ்கல் விதியை அறிமுகப்படுத்தியவருமான பிளைசு பாஸ்கல் மறைந்தார் - On August 19, 1662, Blaise Pascal, inventor of the calculator and pioneer of Pascal's law in mathematics, was passed away.

🌟1871ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி முதன் முதலாக விமானத்தில் பறந்து காட்டிய சகோதரர்களுள் இளைய சகோதரரான ஆர்வில் ரைட்  பிறந்தார் - On August 19, 1871, Orville Wright, the youngest of the brothers who flew the first airplane, was born.

🌟1918ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவரான சங்கர் தயாள் சர்மா பிறந்தார் - Shankar Dhayal Sharma, former President of India, was born on August 19, 1918.

🌟1967ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 19ஆம் தேதி மைக்ரோசாப்ட் நிறுவனத்தின் முதன்மை செயல் அதிகாரியான சத்ய நாதெல்லா பிறந்தார் - Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft, was born on August 19, 1967.
