✒️World Homeopathy Day is celebrated on 10th April every year. Homeopathy, an alternative medicine, was discovered in 1796 by the physician Samuel Hahnemann. Samuel Hahnemann was born on April 10, 1755 in Germany. In honor of him, his birthday is celebrated as World Homeopathy Day.

✒️Railway Week is celebrated from 10th to 16th April. People use trains for very long journeys in India. India has the fourth largest railway network in the world. The pioneers of railway transport in India were the British. First passenger train started on 16th April 1853 between Mumbai and Thane. The first train was run on a 34km track with three steam engines. They named the three steam engines Sultan, Sahib and Sind. To commemorate this event Railway Week is observed every year in India.

✒️Jack Miner, the father of North American bird conservation, was born on April 10, 1865 in Ohio, USA. He became interested in bird conservation and created a pond on his land. From 1911, large number of ducks started arriving. In 1909, he developed the method of bird banding to monitor the path of migratory birds. In 1923, he published "Jack Miner and the Birds, and Some Things I Know about Nature", a book containing his findings and conservation studies of waterfowl. Even though he did not go to school, his name was given to many educational institutions. Jack Miner, who fought for the protection of birds throughout his life, died on November 3, 1944.
