The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Diseases in Animals Act, 2009 :

✒️It was enacted on 20th March 2009 & came into force on 25th August 2009, to provide for the prevention, control and eradication of infectious and contagious diseases affecting animals, for prevention of outbreak or spreading of such diseases from one State to another, and to meet the international obligations of India for facilitating import and export of animals and animal products and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

சர்வதேச மகிழ்ச்சி தினம் - International Happiness Day :

😃International Day of Happiness is celebrated on 20th March every year. When asked what happiness is, each person will give a different meaning. The UN considers happiness to be a global end to war and poverty. The UN General Assembly announced this theme in 2012 on the basis that happiness is the basic goal of human beings.

😃ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் மார்ச் 20ஆம் தேதி சர்வதேச மகிழ்ச்சி தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

😃 மகிழ்ச்சி எது எனக் கேட்டால் ஒவ்வொரு மனிதனும் ஒவ்வொரு அர்த்தத்தை கூறுவார்கள். போரையும், வறுமையையும் உலகளவில் முடிவுக்கு கொண்டு வருவதே மகிழ்ச்சி என ஐ.நா.சபை கருதுகிறது. மகிழ்ச்சியே மனிதனின் அடிப்படை லட்சியம் என்கிற அடிப்படையில் ஐ.நா.பொதுச்சபை 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு இத்தினத்தை அறிவித்தது.

உலக சிட்டுக்குருவிகள் தினம் - World Sparrow Day :

🐦World Sparrow Day is observed on 20th March every year. Sparrow populations are declining due to modern building systems, less than needed grains, pesticide use on farmland, land and water pollution. Therefore, this festival is observed to create awareness about sparrows to prevent their extinction.

🐦ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் உலக சிட்டுக்குருவிகள் தினம் மார்ச் 20ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. 

🐦 நவீன கட்டிட அமைப்பு, தேவைக்கு குறைவான தானியங்கள், விவசாய நிலங்களில் பூச்சிக்கொல்லி மருந்துகள் அடிக்கப்படுதல், நிலம் மற்றும் நீர் மாசு காரணமாகவும், சிட்டுக்குருவிகளின் எண்ணிக்கை குறைந்து வருகிறது. ஆகவே, சிட்டுக்குருவிகள் அழிந்து வருவதை தடுக்கும் விதமாக, அதை பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்தவே இத்தினம் அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.

Henrik Ibsen - Playwright

ஹென்ரிக் இப்சன் - Henrik Johan Ibsen - Norwegian Playwright and Theatre Director :

✒️Henrik Ibsen, the father of modern drama, was born on March 20, 1828 in Skien, southern Norway. He read a lot of poetry and theological books from his childhood. Soon he started writing poetry. He then wrote and published a play called "Catiline". After that he wrote many plays. His play "A Doll's House" is famous as one of the most staged plays. He published a collection of poems in 1871. He also directed and produced many plays. The brand play was critically acclaimed and commercially successful. He has been described as the Freud of the theater because he wrote psychological dramas. His name was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1902, 1903 and 1904. He was one of the greatest playwrights, a theater director and a poet who was versatile and died on 23rd May 1906.

✒️நவீன நாடக இலக்கியத்தின் தந்தை ஹென்ரிக் இப்சன் (Henrik Ibsen) 1828ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 20ஆம் தேதி தெற்கு நார்வேயின் ஸ்கியன் நகரில் பிறந்தார்.

✒️இவர் சிறுவயதில் இருந்தே ஏராளமான கவிதைகள், இறையியல் நூல்களைப் படித்தார். விரைவில் கவிதை எழுதத் தொடங்கினார். பின்பு கேட்டிலினா என்ற நாடகத்தை எழுதி வெளியிட்டார். அதை தொடர்ந்து பல நாடகங்களை எழுதினார். இவரது எ டால்ஸ் ஹவுஸ் நாடகம் அதிகமாக அரங்கேற்றப்பட்ட நாடகங்களில் ஒன்றாகப் புகழ்பெற்றது. 

✒️ஏராளமான கவிதைகள் அடங்கிய தொகுப்பை 1871ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளியிட்டார். பல நாடகங்களை இயக்கி, தயாரிக்கவும் செய்தார். பிராண்ட் நாடகம் அதிக பாராட்டுகளைப் பெற்றதோடு வர்த்தக ரீதியாகவும் வெற்றி பெற்றது.

✒️உளவியல் ரீதியான நாடகங்களை எழுதியதால் நாடகத் துறையின் ஃபிராய்ட் என வர்ணிக்கப்பட்டார். 1902, 1903, 1904ஆம் ஆண்டுகளில் இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசுக்கு இவரது பெயர் பரிந்துரைக்கப்பட்டது. 

✒️தலைசிறந்த நாடக ஆசிரியர்களில் ஒருவர், நாடக இயக்குநர், கவிஞர் என பன்முகத்திறன் கொண்ட இவர் 1906ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 23ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟The Works of Defence Act, 1903 : It was enacted & enforced on 20th March 1903, to provide for imposing restrictions upon the use and enjoyment of land in the vicinity of works of defence in order that such land may be kept free from buildings and other obstructions, and for determining the amount of compensation to be made on account of such imposition.

🌟The Spices Board Act, 1986 : It was enacted on 20th March 1986 & came into force on 26th February 1987, to provide for the constitution of a Board for the development of export of spices and for the control of cardamom industry including the control of cultivation of cardamom and matters connected therewith.

🌟The Indian Red Cross Society Act, 1920 : It was enacted & enforced on 20th March 1920, to constitute an Indian Red Cross Society.

🌟The Charitable and Religious Trusts Act, 1920 : It was enacted & enforced on 20th March 1920, to provide more effectual control over the administration of Charitable and Religious Trusts.

🌟The Armed Forces (Emergency Duties) Act, 1947 : It was enacted & enforced on 20th March 1947, to enable duties in connection with vital services to be imposed in an emergency on an Armed Forces.

🌟 1925ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 20ஆம் தேதி 35வது இந்தியத் தலைமை ஆளுநர் கர்சன் பிரபு மறைந்தார் - Lord Curzon, the 35th Governor General of India passed away on 20 March 1925.
