✒️It was enacted on 31st March 1978 & came into force on 19th August 1981, to consolidate and amend the law relating to the allowance of interest in certain cases.
✒️It was enacted on 31st March 1970 & as per Sec 1 (2) of the provisions of this Act (except section 21, which shall come into force on the appointed day) shall be deemed to have come into force on 19th July 1969, to provide for the acquisition and transfer of the undertakings of certain banking companies, having regard to their size, resources, coverage and organisation, in order to control the heights of the economy and to meet progressively, and serve better, the needs of development of the economy in conformity with national policy and objectives and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
✒️It was enacted on 31st March 2006 & came into force on 1st October 2007 (except s. 16), to provide for the establishment of Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board to regulate the refining, processing, storage, transportation, distribution, marketing and sale of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas excluding production of crude oil and natural gas so as to protect the interests of consumers and entities engaged in specified activities relating to petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas and to ensure uninterrupted and adequate supply of petroleum, petroleum products and natural gas in all parts of the country and to promote competitive markets and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
✒️It was enacted on 31st March 1984 & came into force on 14th February 1984, to provide for the acquisition and transfer of the undertakings of the Inchek Tyres Limited and the National Rubber Manufacturers Limited, with a view to securing the proper management of such undertakings so as to subserve the interests of the general public by ensuring the continued manufacture, production and distribution of tyres, tubes and other rubber goods which are essential to the needs of the economy of the country and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 31st March 1943, to make provisions on a basis of reciprocity in regard to entry into, travel, residence, the acquisition, holding or disposal of property, the enjoyment of educational facilities, the holding of public office, or the carrying on of any occupation, trade, business or profession in India by, and the franchise in India of, persons domiciled in British Possessions.

✒️Rene Descartes, was a great philosopher and mathematician, was born on March 31, 1596 in France. In 1607 he joined the Jesuit College Royal Henry-Le-Grand at La Fleche. There he was introduced to mathematics, physics and Galileo's pioneering work. After graduating in 1614, he spent two years at the University of Poitiers from 1615 to 1616, earning a bachelor's degree and a license to practice common law. After that he became a lawyer according to his father's wishes. However, he was involved in the fields of mathematics, physics, philosophy, medicine and politics. Then in 1626 he wrote "Rules for the Direction of the Mind". He studied optics, astronomy and mathematics. Discovered major discoveries in mathematics such as Cartesian Coordinate System, Analytical Geometry. Rene Descartes, known as the father of modern philosophy, died on February 11, 1650.
✒️மெய்யியல் அறிஞர், கணிதமேதை, தத்துவ மேதை என போற்றப்பட்ட ரெனே டெஸ்கார்ட்ஸ் 1596ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 31ஆம் தேதி பிரான்ஸில் பிறந்தார். 1607ஆம் ஆண்டு இவர் லா-பிலெஞ்சிலுள்ள ஜேசூயிட் கல்லூரியில் சேர்ந்தார். அங்கு அவருக்கு கணிதம், இயற்பியல் மற்றும் கலிலியோவின் கண்டுபிடிப்பு வேலைகள் உள்ளிட்டவை அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது. 1614ஆம் ஆண்டு பட்டம் பெற்ற பின், 1615 முதல் 1616 வரை பொய்ட்டீர் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் இரண்டு வருடங்கள் இளங்கலை பட்டமும், பொதுச்சட்டவியல் தொழில் செய்ய உரிமமும் பெற்றார். அதனையடுத்து தனது தந்தையின் விருப்பப்படி வழக்கறிஞரானார். ஆனால், இவர் கணிதம், இயற்பியல், மெய்யியல், மருத்துவம், அரசியல் போன்ற துறைகளில் ஈடுபாடு கொண்டிருந்தார். பின்பு 1626ஆம் ஆண்டு ரூல்ஸ் ஃபார் த டைரக்ஷன் ஆஃப் தி மைண்ட் (Rules for the Direction of the Mind) என்ற நூலை எழுதினார். ஒளியியல், வானியல், கணிதம் குறித்து ஆய்வு மேற்கொண்டார். கணிதத்தின் முக்கிய கண்டுபிடிப்புகளான கார்ட்டீசியன் ஆய்வுமுறை (Cartesian Coordinate System), பகுப்பாய்வு வடிவியலை (Analytical Geometry) கண்டறிந்தார். நவீன தத்துவவியலின் தந்தை என்று புகழப்பட்ட ரெனே டெஸ்கார்ட்ஸ் 1650ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 11ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
