In that line today we are going to know about "Nalanda University Act - Former Secretary of State Service Officers (Conditions of Service) Act - Tripura Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act - World Peace Day - World Alzheimer's Day - Herbert George Wells, English Writer - Galileo Spacecraft - Malta Independence."
The Nalanda University Act, 2010 :
✒️It was enacted on 21st September 2010 & came into force on 25th November 2010, to implement the decisions arrived at the Second East Asia Summit held on the 15th January, 2007, at Philippines and subsequently at the Fourth East Asia Summit held on the 25th October, 2009, at Thailand for the establishment of the Nalanda University in the State of Bihar as an international institution for pursuit of intellectual, philosophical, historical and spiritual studies and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Former Secretary of State Service Officers (Conditions of Service) Act, 1972 :
✒️It was enacted on 21st September 1972 & came into force on 1st October 1972, to provide for the variation or revocation of the conditions of service of former Secretary of State Service officers in respect of certain matters and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Tripura Land Revenue and Land Reforms Act, 1960 :
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 21st September 1960, to consolidate and amend the law relating to land revenue in the Union territory of Tripura and to provide for the acquisition of estates and for certain other measures of land reform.
உலக அமைதி தினம் - World Peace Day :
✒️The World Day of Peace is celebrated every year on 21st September as proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly. This day has been celebrated on the third Tuesday of September every year since 1981. Since 2002, it has been celebrated on 21st September. Today in many parts of the world events related to peace are taking place. However, its purpose is to maintain peace in human life not only today but every day.
- உலக அமைதி தினம், ஐக்கிய நாடுகளின் பொதுச்சபையின் பிரகடனத்தின் மூலம் ஆண்டுதோறும் செப்டம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
- இந்நாள் 1981ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செப்டம்பர் மாதத்தில் வரும் மூன்றாம் செவ்வாய்க்கிழமையிலேயே கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வந்தது. பிறகு 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் செப்டம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
- இந்நாளில் உலகின் பல பகுதிகளில் சமாதானத்துடன் தொடர்புடைய நிகழ்வுகள் முன்னெடுக்கப்படுகின்றன. எனினும், இன்று மட்டுமன்றி ஒவ்வொரு நாட்களுமே மனித வாழ்வில் சமாதானம் நிலைக்க வேண்டும் என்பதே இதன் நோக்கம்.
உலக அல்சைமர் தினம் - World Alzheimer's Day :
- ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் செப்டம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி உலக அல்சைமர் தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது. கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக மூளையின் செல்களை சிதைத்து, ஞாபக சக்தியைக் குறைத்து, நம்மை நமக்கே மறக்க வைத்துவிடும் நோய் தான், அல்சைமர். இந்நோய் 65 வயது தாண்டியவர்களை அதிகம் பாதிக்கிறது.
- அல்சைமர் நோயை பற்றியும், அதன் தொடர்புடைய முதுமை மறதியை பற்றியும் விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்த இத்தினம் கடைபிடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

ஹெச்.ஜி.வெல்ஸ் - Herbert George Wells - English Writer :
- வரலாறு, அரசியல், சமூகம் ஆகிய அனைத்து களங்களிலும் தனது படைப்புகளால் தனிமுத்திரை பதித்த ஹெச்.ஜி.வெல்ஸ் 1866ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 21ஆம் தேதி இங்கிலாந்து தலைநகர் லண்டன் அருகே உள்ள ப்ரூம்ளி நகரில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவரது முதல் நாவலான 'தி டைம் மெஷின்" 1895ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்து, மகத்தான வெற்றி பெற்றது. இதன்பின் இவர் இலக்கிய உலகில் பரபரப்பாக பேசப்படும் எழுத்தாளர் ஆனார்.
- இவர் தொடர்ந்து அறிவியல் புனைக்கதைகள் எழுதி வந்தார். 1920ஆம் ஆண்டு வெளிவந்த 'அவுட்லைன் ஆஃப் ஹிஸ்டிரி" புத்தகம் விற்பனையில் சாதனை படைத்தது. 'தி ஐலண்ட் ஆஃப் டாக்டர் மாரோ", 'தி இன்விசிபிள் மேன்", 'தி வார் ஆஃப் தி வேர்ல்ட்ஸ்", 'தி ஷேப் ஆஃப் திங்ஸ் டு கம்" ஆகிய நூல்கள் இவருக்கு பெயரையும், புகழையும் ஈட்டித் தந்தது.
- வாழ்நாளில் சுமார் 50 ஆண்டு காலம் எழுத்திற்காக தன்னை அர்ப்பணித்த தொலைநோக்கு எழுத்தாளர் ஹெச்.ஜி.வெல்ஸ் 1946ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 13ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
