Decriminalization of Adultery :
✒️On 27th September 2018, Supreme Court of India struck down Section 497 of IPC, as it was considered to be discriminatory against women (Joseph Shine vs Union Of India). Recently, Supreme Court clarified that its 2018 decision striking down Section 497 of IPC will not affect court martial proceedings initiated against personnel serving in the armed forces for adulterous conduct.
உலக சுற்றுலா தினம் - World Tourism Day :
✒️World Tourism Day has been celebrated worldwide since 1980 on September 27 under the auspices of the World Tourism Organization (WTO). The resolution to this effect was brought and passed at the third General Assembly of the United Nations World Tourism Organization held in Spain. The day is celebrated to highlight the importance of tourism worldwide and how tourism influences people's society, culture, politics and economy.
- உலக சுற்றுலா நிறுவனத்தின் (WTO) ஆதரவில் செப்டம்பர் 27ஆம் நாளில் 1980ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து உலகெங்கும் உலக சுற்றுலா தினம் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகிறது. ஸ்பெயினில் நடைபெற்ற ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் உலக சுற்றுலா நிறுவனத்தின் மூன்றாவது பொது அவைக்கூட்டத்தில் இதற்கான தீர்மானம் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டு நிறைவேற்றப்பட்டது. சுற்றுலாவின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உலகெங்கும் எடுத்துக்காட்டவும், சுற்றுலா எப்படி மக்களின் சமூகம், கலாச்சாரம், அரசியல் மற்றும் பொருளாதாரத்தில் தாக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்துகிறது என்பதை எடுத்துக்காட்டவும் இந்நாள் சிறப்பிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

நாகேஷ் - Nagesh, Renowned Actor :
✒️Nagesh, a Tamil film comedian with many achievements in comedy and character acting, was born on 27th September 1933 at Dharapuram in Tirupur district. He entered the film industry in 1959. Under Sridhar's direction he appeared in a lead comedy role in the film "Kadhalikka Neramillai" (no time to love) and the movie became a huge hit and thereafter he has acted numerous movies with different roles. He has received "Kalaimamani Award" in 1974. The Tamil Nadu government awarded him the best comedian award for his performance in the film "Nammavar". Such a legendary artist passed away on 31st January 2009.
- நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் குணச்சித்திர நடிப்பில் பல சாதனைகள் படைத்த தமிழ் திரைப்பட நகைச்சுவை நடிகரான நாகேஷ், 1933 ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 27ந் ஆம் தேதி திருப்பூர் மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள தாராபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார். அவர் 1959 இல் திரைப்படத் துறையில் நுழைந்தார். பிரபல திரைப்பட இயக்குநர் ஸ்ரீதரின் இயக்கத்தில் அவர் "காதலிக்க நேரமில்லை" திரைப்படத்தில் ஒரு முக்கிய நகைச்சுவை வேடத்தில் தோன்றினார், அப்படம் மிகப்பெரிய வெற்றியைப் பெற்றது, அதன் பிறகு நகைச்சுவை மற்றும் சவாலான வேடங்களில் ஏராளமான திரைப்படங்களில் நடித்துள்ளார். 1974ல் "கலைமாமணி விருது" பெற்றுள்ளார். "நம்மவர்" படத்தில் நடித்ததற்காக தமிழக அரசு இவருக்கு சிறந்த நகைச்சுவை நடிகருக்கான விருதை வழங்கியது. அத்தகைய பழம்பெரும் கலைஞர் 2009ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 31ந் தேதியன்று காலமானார்.

🌟 1825ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 27ஆம் தேதி உலகின் முதலாவது பயணிகள் தொடருந்து இங்கிலாந்தில் சேவைக்கு விடப்பட்டது - The World's first passenger train was launched into service in England on September 27, 1825.
🌟 1905ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 27ஆம் தேதி தினத்தந்தி நாளிதழை தொடங்கிய சி.பா.ஆதித்தனார் தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் காயாமொழி கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார் - S.P.Adithanar, who started the Daily Thanthi, was born on September 27, 1905, in the village of Kayamozhi in Thoothukudi district.
