✒️It was enacted on 11th May 2007 & came into force on 4th June 2007, to provide for the extension of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005 to the State of Jammu and Kashmir.
✒️The Indian government conducted a nuclear bomb test in Pokhran on 11 May 1998 in the name of "Operation Shakti". A total of five nuclear tests were conducted and all the tests performed successfully. With this, India also joined the list of nuclear weapon states of the world. In recognition of this, 11th May was declared as "National Technology Day". Also, on this day awards are given in this to encourage those who have achieved in the field of science.
✒️இந்திய அரசு 1998ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 11ஆம் தேதி ஆப்ரேஷன் சக்தி என்ற பெயரில் பொக்ரானில் அணுகுண்டு சோதனை நடத்தியது. மொத்தம் ஐந்து அணுவெடிப்பு சோதனைகள் நடத்தப்பட்டன. அனைத்து சோதனையும் வெற்றிகரமாக நிகழ்த்தப்பட்டது. இதன்மூலம் உலகின் அணுஆயுத நாடுகளின் பட்டியலில் இந்தியாவும் இணைந்தது. இதனை அங்கீகரிக்கும் விதமாக மே 11ஆம் தேதி தேசிய தொழில்நுட்ப தினமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. மேலும், அறிவியல் துறையில் சாதனை செய்தவர்களுக்கு ஊக்கப்படுத்தும் விதமாக இத்தினத்தில் விருதுகள் வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.

✒️Shuddhananda Bharati, hailed as Kaviyogi and Maharishi, was born on May 11, 1897 in Sivagangai. His birth name is Venkata Subramanian. He was interested in writing poetry and spirituality from childhood. He was initiated by a Siddhar named Sudthanandam. Among the books composed by him, the poetry books "Yogasiddhi", "Keerthananjali" and "Melaragamalai" are very popular. Also, he translated "Thirukkural" into English. He composed many songs that inspired national ideas. He also did many reform works. Tanjore Tamil University's first Rajarajan Award won by his book "Bharata Shakti". He passed away on March 7, 1990, who made the world realize that we are "One God, One World, and One Humanity".
✒️கவியோகி, மகரிஷி எனப் போற்றப்பட்ட சுத்தானந்த பாரதி 1897ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 11ஆம் தேதி சிவகங்கையில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் வேங்கட சுப்ரமணியன். இவர் சிறுவயதிலிருந்தே கவிதை எழுதுவது மற்றும் ஆன்மிகத்தில் ஆர்வம் கொண்டிருந்தார். சுத்தானந்தம் என பெயரிட்டு சித்தர் ஒருவர் இவருக்கு தீட்சை வழங்கினார். இவர் இயற்றிய நூல்களில் யோகசித்தி, கீர்த்தனாஞ்சலி, மேளராகமாலை ஆகிய கவிதை நூல்கள் மிகவும் பிரபலமானவை. மேலும், இவர் திருக்குறளை ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்த்தார். இவர் தேசியச் சிந்தனைகளைத் தூண்டும் பல பாடல்களை இயற்றினார். பல சீர்திருத்தப் பணிகளையும் செய்துள்ளார். தஞ்சை தமிழ்ப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் முதல் ராஜராஜன் விருது இவரது பாரத சக்தி நூலுக்குக் கிடைத்தது. ஒரே கடவுள், ஒரே உலகம், ஒரே ஆன்மநேயர் நாம் என்பதை உலகுக்கு உணர்த்திய இவர் 1990ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 7ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
