The Jallianwala Bagh National Memorial Act, 1951 :

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 1st May 1951, to provide for the erection and management of a National Memorial to perpetuate the memory of those killed or wounded on the 13th day of April, 1919, in Jallianwala Bagh.

The Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 :

✒️It was enacted on 1st May 1949 & came into force on 1st July 1949, to make provision for the regulation of the profession of chartered accountants.

The Sugarcane Act, 1934 :

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 1st May 1934, to regulate the price of sugar-cane intended for use in sugar factories.

உலக தொழிலாளர் தினம் - Labour Day :

✒️Human labour is the reason why this world runs every second. The world runs because of the labour of workers. The celebration of Labour Day has its roots in the eight-hour day movement. It advocated eight hours of work, eight hours of recreation and eight hours of rest. World Labours' Day, also known as May Day is celebrated globally on May 1 every year.

✒️இந்த உலகம் ஒவ்வொரு நொடியும் இயங்க மனித உழைப்புதான் காரணமாக இருக்கிறது. தொழிலாளர்களின் உழைப்பினால்தான் உலகமே இயங்குகிறது. தொழிலாளர் தினத்தின் கொண்டாட்டம் அதன் மூலங்களை எட்டு மணிநேர நாள் இயக்கத்தில் கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. இது எட்டு மணிநேர வேலை, எட்டு மணிநேர பொழுதுபோக்கு மற்றும் எட்டு மணிநேர ஓய்வு ஆகியவற்றை வாதிட்டது. மே தினம் எனப்படும் உலக தொழிலாளர் தினம் ஆண்டுதோறும் மே முதலாம் தேதி உலகளாவிய ரீதியில் கொண்டாடப்பட்டு வருகின்றது.

மன்னா டே - Manna Dey (Prabodh Chandra Dey)  - Indian Playback Singer - Music Director - Musician :

✒️Manna Dey, the best playback singer of Indian cinema, was born on May 1, 1919 in West Bengal. His original name was Prabodh Chandra Dey. He became famous in the South Indian film industry with the movie Chemmeen. He was known as Manna Dey because he captured the hearts of the people. Most of the songs he sang in his musical career spanning more than 60 years are popular. He has received many awards like Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Manna Dey, who is still present in the hearts of thousands of fans after singing many timeless songs, passed away on October 24, 2013.

✒️இந்தியத் திரையுலகின் சிறந்த பின்னணிப் பாடகரான மன்னா டே 1919ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 1ஆம் தேதி மேற்கு வங்க மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் பிரபோத் சந்திரா டே. இவர் செம்மீன் திரைப்படத்தின் மூலம் தென்னிந்திய திரையுலகில் பிரபலமானார். மக்களின் மனங்களைக் கவர்ந்ததால் இவர் மன்னா டே என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார். 60 ஆண்டுகளுக்கும் மேல் நீடித்த இவரது இசைப் பயணத்தில் இவர் பாடிய பாடல்களில் பெரும்பாலானவை பிரபலமானவைகள். பத்மஸ்ரீ, பத்ம பூஷண், தாதாசாஹேப் பால்கே விருது என பல விருதுகளையும் பெற்றுள்ளார். காலத்தால் அழியாத பல அமரகீதங்களைப் பாடி பல்லாயிரக்கணக்கான ரசிகர்களின் மனதில் இன்றும் நீங்கா இடம்பெற்றுள்ள மன்னா டே, 2013ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 24ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1852ஆம் ஆண்டு மே 1ஆம் தேதி நவீன நரம்பியல் துறையின் தந்தை சான்டியாகோ ரமோன் கஸல் ஸ்பெயினின் பெடில்லா டி அரகான் நகரில் பிறந்தார் - Santiago Ramon y Cajal, father of modern neurology, was born on May 1, 1852, in Petilla de Aragon, Spain.
