✒️It was enacted on 26th May 2015 & as per Sec 1(3) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, it shall come into force on 1st April, 2016, to make provisions to deal with the problem of the Black money that is undisclosed foreign income and assets, the procedure for dealing with such income and assets and to provide for imposition of tax on any undisclosed foreign income and asset held outside India and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
✒️It was enacted on 26th May 1983 & came into force on 15th December 1983, to implement the international agreement for the establishment and operation of the African Development Bank and for matters concerned therewith.
✒️It was enacted on 26th May 2003 & June 2003, to consolidate the laws relating to generation, transmission, distribution, trading and use of electricity and generally for taking measures conducive to development of electricity industry, promoting competition therein, protecting interest of consumers and supply of electricity to all areas, rationalisation of electricity tariff, ensuring transparent policies regarding subsidies, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies, constitution of Central Electricity Authority, Regulatory Commissions and establishment of Appellate Tribunal and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

✒️American physicist and astronaut Sally Ride was born on May 26, 1951 in Los Angeles. She joined NASA in 1978. In 1983, she made history as the first American woman to set foot in space. She has spent a total of 343 hours in space. She left NASA in 1987 after two flights aboard the Orbiter Challenger. Later, she worked for two years at Stanford University's Center for International Security and Arms Control. She was respected as a national hero and passed away on July 23, 2012.

✒️Manorama fondly known as Aachi was born on 26th May 1937 in Mannargudi. Her original name was Gopishantha. She is proud to have acted with the greats of the Tamil film industry like revolutionary leader MGR, Ms.Jayalalitha and Andhra Chief Minister NTR. She is featured in the Guinness Book of Records for acting in more than 1000 films. She has won many awards like Padma Shri, Kalaimamani, National Award and Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the arts. Manorama, who made a great achievement in the Indian film industry, passed away on October 10, 2015.
