✒️An Act for the protection of Judicial Officers, was enacted & enforced on 4th April 1850.
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 4th April 1959, to declare that certain offices of profit under the Government shall not disqualify the holders thereof for being chosen as, or for being, members of Parliament.
✒️It was enacted on 4th April 1992 & as per sec 1(3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 30th January 1992, to provide for the establishment of a Board to protect the interests of investors in securities and to promote the development of, and to regulate, the securities market and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
✒️Landmines are explosive devices placed a few centimeters deep in the ground or above ground. They are often placed on the borders of the country and in war zones. It is observed on 4th April to protect ourselves from landmines, prevent their production, sale and distribution and thus highlight the rights of the victims.
✒️நிலக்கண்ணிகள் நிலத்தில் ஒரு சில சென்டிமீட்டர் ஆழத்திலோ அல்லது நிலத்தின் மேலோ வைக்கப்படும் வெடிபொருட்களாகும். பெரும்பாலும் நாட்டின் எல்லைப்புறங்களிலும், யுத்தம் நடைபெறும் இடங்களிலும் வைக்கப்படுகின்றன. நிலக்கண்ணிகளில் இருந்து நம்மை பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளவும், இதன் உற்பத்தி, விற்பனை, விநியோகம் ஆகியவற்றை தடுத்திடவும், இதனால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவரின் உரிமையை எடுத்துக்கூறவும் இத்தினம் ஏப்ரல் 4ஆம் தேதி கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
✒️Manonmaniam P.Sundaram Pillai, who wrote the "Tamil Thai Vazhthu" (Anthem to mother Tamil) song beginning with "Neerarum Kadaluduttha", was born on April 4, 1855 in Alappuzha, Kerala. He wrote "Manonmaniam" in 1891. In 1970, the Tamil Nadu government declared the song beginning with "Neerarum Kadaluduttha" as a Tamil Thai Vazhthu song. He translated the 3 parts of "Pathuppattu", "Thirumurugaatruppadai", Nedunal Vaadai and Madurai Kanchi in the book "The Ten Tamil Idylls" into English. He holds many degrees like F.M.U., F.R.H, S.M.R.A.S, Rao Bahadur. P.Sundaram Pillai, a great Tamil scholar who contributed immensely in many fields, passed away on 26th April 1897.
✒️நீராருங் கடலுடுத்த எனத் தொடங்கும் தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துப் பாடலை எழுதிய மனோன்மணீயம் பெ.சுந்தரம் பிள்ளை 1855ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 4ஆம் தேதி கேரள மாநிலம் ஆலப்புழையில் பிறந்தார். இவர் மனோன்மணீயம் என்ற நூலை 1891ஆம் ஆண்டு எழுதினார். அதில் இடம்பெற்ற நீராருங் கடலுடுத்த எனத் தொடங்கும் பாடலை தமிழ்த்தாய் வாழ்த்துப் பாடலாக தமிழக அரசு 1970ஆம் ஆண்டு அறிவித்தது. பத்துப்பாட்டின் 3 அங்கங்களான திருமுருகாற்றுப்படை, நெடுநல் வாடை, மதுரைக் காஞ்சி ஆகியவற்றை "தி டென் தமிழ் ஐடியல்ஸ்" (The Ten Tamil Idylls) என்ற நூலில் ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிப்பெயர்த்தார். இவர் F.M.U., F.R.H, S.M.R.A.S, ராவ்பகதூர் போன்ற பல பட்டங்களை பெற்றுள்ளார். பல களங்களில் மகத்தான பங்களிப்பை வழங்கியவரும், சிறந்த தமிழ் அறிஞருமான பெ.சுந்தரம் பிள்ளை 1897ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 26ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

✒️Freedom fighter Pandit Makhanlal Chaturvedi was born on 4th April 1889 in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The slogans of Tilak and Gandhi inspired the desire for freedom in him. He participated in Non-Cooperation Movement, Quit India Movement. He received the Dev Puraskar Award in 1943 for his work Him Kiritani. In 1955, his poetry collection Him Tarangini won the first Sahitya Akademi Award for Hindi. Makhanlal Chaturvedi, affectionately known as Panditji by Hindi literature lovers, passed away on 30th January 1968. The Madhya Pradesh government has been awarding Makhanlal Chaturvedi Puraskar to the best poets since 1987 in his memory.
✒️விடுதலை போராட்ட வீரரான பண்டிட் மாகன்லால் சதுர்வேதி 1889ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 4ஆம் தேதி மத்திய பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தார். திலகர், காந்தி ஆகியோரின் முழக்கங்கள் இவருக்குள் விடுதலை வேட்கையை தூண்டியது. இவர் ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கம், வெள்ளையனே வெளியேறு இயக்கத்தில் பங்கேற்றார். இவர் 1943ஆம் ஆண்டு ஹிம கிரீடினி படைப்புக்காக தேவ் புரஸ்கார் விருது பெற்றார். 1955ஆம் ஆண்டு இவரது ஹிம தரங்கிணி கவிதைத் தொகுப்பு இந்தி மொழிக்கான முதல் சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருதை வென்றது. இந்தி இலக்கிய ஆர்வலர்களால் பண்டிட்ஜி என்று அன்போடு அழைக்கப்பட்ட மாகன்லால் சதுர்வேதி 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 30ந் தேதி மறைந்தார். இவரை நினைவுக்கூறும் விதமாக மாகன்லால் சதுர்வேதி புரஸ்கார் என்ற விருதை சிறந்த கவிஞர்களுக்கு மத்தியப் பிரதேச அரசு 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் வழங்கி வருகிறது.

🌟 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு ஏப்ரல் 4ஆம் தேதி கறுப்பினத் தலைவர் மார்ட்டின் லூதர் கிங் மறைந்தார் - Black leader Martin Luther King died on April 4, 1968.
