✒️Garrett Augustus Morgan, an American inventor who invented many tools, was born on March 4, 1877 in Kentucky, USA. Morgan dropped out of school at an early age. He received his education from a teacher with tuition from the income he earned from working as a laborer in many places. He became famous after he invented a way to fasten a sewing machine belt. In 1907, he started a sewing machine and shoe repair shop. Gradually he got a foothold in various industries. In 1914, he designed and patented a protective shield against smoke and toxic gases. He invented cosmetics such as straightening cream, combs, and hair dyes for curly hair. He invented a simple, efficient traffic control signal system. Accidents were controlled using this. He also got a patent for this. His name is included in the book "100 Greatest African Americans". Garrett Morgan, who found many instruments and achieved many achievements with his hard work and talent, died on July 27, 1963.
