✒️Wilhelm Rontgen, the discoverer of X-rays, was born on March 27, 1845, in Lennep, Germany. He studied how electrical discharge occurs in low-pressure materials. He was then studying the various external effects of vacuum tube equipment and observed the glow of antipolar rays. Also, he did some experiments in a dark room and found out that this glow was caused by a type of invisible rays. He named it X-rays. He discovered this on November 8, 1895. He was awarded the first Nobel Prize in Physics in 1901 for this discovery. He died on February 10, 1923, who is hailed as the father of radiation therapy.
