✒️It was enacted on 1st March 1950 & came into force on 1st September 1950, to prevent the improper use of certain emblems and names for professional and commercial purposes.
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 1st March 1912, to amend the Law relating to Co-operative Societies.
✒️The day is observed on 1st March every year as a reminder of non-discrimination among people. The objective of this day is to realize that people should be respected without any discrimination like color, body, male, female, weight, height, age, language etc.

✒️A.N.Sivaraman, a freedom fighter and a legend in the world of journalism, was born on March 1, 1904 in Kochi, Kerala. When he was in college, Gandhiji called him for the Non-Cooperation Movement. Accordingly, he stopped his studies midway and joined the freedom struggle. When the magazine 'Dinamani' was started in 1934, he worked as an assistant editor and editor for 54 years. He wrote thousands of articles under the pseudonyms of 'Kanakkan', 'Onnekal Pervazhi Aasami', 'Kumaastha', 'Araikurai Vedhiyan' and 'Araikurai Paamaran'. He refused to accept the offer of Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awards. He received the 'Tamra Patra' awarded by the central government in honor of his contribution in the freedom struggle.
✒️ விடுதலைப் போராட்ட வீரரும், பத்திரிக்கை உலகின் ஜாம்பவானுமாகிய ஏ.என்.சிவராமன் 1904ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 1ஆம் தேதி கேரள மாநிலம் கொச்சியில் பிறந்தார். இவர் கல்லூரியில் படித்தப்போது ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கத்துக்காக காந்திஜி அழைத்தார். அதற்கிணங்கி படிப்பை பாதியிலேயே நிறுத்திவிட்டு விடுதலைப் போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டார். 1934ஆம் ஆண்டு 'தினமணி' இதழ் தொடங்கப்பட்டபோது, அதில் உதவி ஆசிரியராக, ஆசிரியராக 54 ஆணடுகள் பணியாற்றினார். கணக்கன், ஒண்ணேகால் ஏக்கர் பேர்வழி, குமாஸ்தா, அரைகுறை வேதியன், அரைகுறை பாமரன் ஆகிய புனைப்பெயர்களில் ஆயிரக்கணக்கான கட்டுரைகள் எழுதினார். பத்மஸ்ரீ, பத்ம பூஷண் விருதுகள் பெறும் வாய்ப்பு தேடிவந்தபோதும் ஏற்க மறுத்துவிட்டார். விடுதலைப் போராட்டத்தில் இவரது பங்களிப்பை கௌரவிக்கும் வகையில் மத்திய அரசு வழங்கிய தாமிரப் பட்டயத்தை ஏற்றார். தமிழ் பத்திரிக்கை உலகில் பல்வேறு சாதனைகளைப் படைத்தவரும், 'ஏ.என்.எஸ்' என்று அன்போடு அழைக்கப்பட்டவருமான ஏ.என்.சிவராமன் தனது பிறந்தநாளன்றே 97வது வயதில் (1-3-2001) மறைந்தார்.

✒️M.K.Stalin, the son of M. Karunanidhi (Karunanidhi was the prime leader of the Dravida movement, who served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 5 times) who introduced many pioneering projects to Tamil Nadu. He was a former mayor and present leader of DMK and the current Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, was born on March 1, 1953 in Chennai.
✒️திராவிட இயக்கத்தின் முக்கிய தலைவரும், தமிழகத்தின் முதல்வராக 5 முறை பதவி வகித்தவருமான கலைஞர்.மு.கருணாநிதியின் மகனும், தமிழகத்துக்கு பல முன்னோடி திட்டங்களை அறிமுகம் செய்தவரும், முன்னாள் மேயரும், திமுக-வின் தலைவரும், தற்போதைய தமிழகத்தின் முதல்வருமான மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் அவர்கள் 1953ஆம் ஆண்டு மார்ச் 1ஆம் தேதி, சென்னையில் பிறந்தார்.
🌟ஹென்றி பெக்கெரல் கதிரியக்கத்தை 1896 ஆம் ஆண்டு, மார்ச் 1 ஆம் தேதி அன்று கண்டுபிடித்தார் - Henri Becquerel discovered radioactivity on March 1st 1896.
🌟முதன் முதலில் பறக்கும் விமானம் ஒன்றிலிருந்து ஆல்பேர்ட் பெரி என்பவர் பாரசூட்டில் இருந்து மார்ச் 1, 1912 இல் குதித்தார் - Albert Berry is reported to have made the first parachute jump from a flying airplane on March 1, 1912.
