The Government Buildings Act, 1899 - அரசாங்கக் கட்டிடங்கள் சட்டம், 1899 :
✒️ It was enacted & enforced on 3rd february 1899, to provide for the exemption from the operation of municipal building laws of certain buildings and lands which are the property, or in the occupation, of the Government and situate within the limits of a municipality.
The Destructive Insects and Pests Act, 1914 - அழிக்கும் பூச்சிகள் மற்றும் பூச்சிகள் சட்டம் 1914 :
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 3rd February 1914, to prevent the introduction into India and the transport from one State to another of any insect, fungus or other pest, which is or may be destructive to crops.
அறிஞர் அண்ணாதுரை - Natarajan Annadurai (known as Anna or Arignar Anna or Perarignar Anna) - Indian Politician (who served as the fourth and last Chief Minister of Madras State) :
✒️Today Annadurai's Memorial Day! Anna, the founder of the Dravidian movement in the political field of Tamil Nadu, was born on 15 September 1909 in Kanchipuram. He was inspired by Periyar's principles and joined the Dravidar Kazhagam (social movement). Later he left the Dravidar Kazhagam and started the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in 1949. He was elected as a member of Rajya Sabha in 1962. He became the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu after his Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam won a landslide victory in the 1967 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections. He is the person who changed the name of Madras State to Tamil Nadu. C.N.Annadurai, who created a new history in the political field, died of cancer in 1969. About one and a half crore people attended his funeral and this event is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.

- அறிஞர் அண்ணா என்று அழைக்கப்படும் C.N.அண்ணாதுரை அவர்கள் (காஞ்சிபுரம் நடராஜன் அண்ணாதுரை) 1909ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 15ஆம் தேதி காஞ்சிபுரத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது 'நல்ல தம்பி" என்ற கதை 1948ஆம் ஆண்டு திரைப்படமாக தயாரிக்கப்பட்டது. இவரது சொல்லாற்றலும், எழுத்தாற்றலும், அடுக்குமொழியில் மடைதிறந்தாற்போல் மணிக்கணக்கில் பேசும் அளவுக்கு இனிமையாக இருந்தது. இவர் பெரியாரின் கொள்கைகளால் ஈர்க்கப்பட்டு, திராவிடர் கழகத்தில் (தி.க) சேர்ந்தார். பிறகு தி.க.வில் இருந்து விலகி 1949ஆம் ஆண்டு திராவிட முன்னேற்றக் கழகத்தை ஆரம்பித்தார். இவர் 'ஒன்றே குலம், ஒருவனே தேவன்" என்ற கொள்கையை கொண்டவர். மூடநம்பிக்கைகளை எதிர்த்தவர். 1965ஆம் ஆண்டு தமிழகம் முழுவதும் இந்தி எதிர்ப்புப் போராட்டங்கள் நடைபெற்றது. அதன் விளைவாக, இந்தி பேசா மக்கள் விரும்பும் வரை ஆட்சி மொழியாக ஆங்கிலமே நீடிக்கும் என அரசியல் சட்டம் திருத்தப்பட்டது. மாநிலங்களவை உறுப்பினராகவும் (1962) மற்றும் தமிழக சட்டப்பேரவைத் தேர்தலில் வெற்றி பெற்று முதல்வராகவும் (1967) தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். மதராஸ் மாநிலம் என்ற பெயரை 'தமிழ்நாடு" என மாற்றினார். இவர் 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 3ஆம் தேதி சென்னையில் மறைந்தார். அண்ணா அவரின் மறைவிற்கு பின், இவரது பெயரால் 'அண்ணா திராவிட முன்னேற்ற கழகம்" (அதிமுக) என்ற ஒரு கட்சி எம்.ஜி.ராமச்சந்திரன் அவர்களால் 1972ஆம் ஆண்டு துவங்கப்பட்டது. இவருடைய இறுதி மரியாதையில் சுமார் 1 கோடியே 50 லட்சம் பேர் கலந்து கொண்டு இறுதி மரியாதை செலுத்தினர். இந்நிகழ்வு கின்னஸ் உலக புத்தகத்தில் இடம் பெற்றுள்ளது.

சார்லஸ் ஹென்றி டர்னர் - Charles Henry Turner - American Zoologist - Educator - Comparative Psychologist :
✒️Biologist and educator Charles Henry Turner was born on February 3, 1867 in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He began to engage in research on invertebrates, particularly the hearing, visual, and learning abilities of insects, as well as their hunting ability. He has published 49 articles on his researches. He also found that insects respond to the characteristics of sounds. He also found that insects are capable of changing their habits through previous experiences. In addition to scientific research, he fought hard for the social development and education of African Americans. He died on February 14, 1923, the first African American to receive a doctorate in zoology.
- உயிரியலாளரும், கல்வியாளருமான சார்லஸ் ஹென்றி டர்னர் 1867ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 3ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவிலுள்ள ஓஹியோ மாநிலம், சின்சினாட்டியில் பிறந்தார். முதுகெலும்பில்லாத உயிரினங்கள் குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சியில் குறிப்பாக பூச்சிகளின் கேட்கும் திறன், காட்சித் திறன் மற்றும் அவற்றின் கற்றல் திறன், வேட்டையாடும் திறன் குறித்த ஆராய்ச்சிகளில் ஈடுபடத் தொடங்கினார். தனது ஆராய்ச்சிகள் குறித்து 49 கட்டுரைகளை இவர் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். பூச்சிகள் ஓசைகளின் தன்மைகளுக்கு ஏற்ப எதிர்வினை புரிவதையும் கண்டறிந்தார். பூச்சிகள் முந்தைய அனுபவங்கள் வாயிலாகத் தங்கள் பழக்கவழக்கங்களை மாற்றிக்கொள்ளும் திறன் கொண்டவை என்பதையும் கண்டறிந்தார். விஞ்ஞான ஆராய்ச்சிகள் தவிர, ஆப்பிரிக்க அமெரிக்கர்களின் சமூக மேம்பாட்டுக்காகவும், கல்வி அறிவு பெறவும் இவர் கடுமையாகப் போராடினார். விலங்கியலில் முனைவர் பட்டம் பெற்ற முதல் ஆப்பிரிக்க அமெரிக்கரான இவர் 1923ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 14ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟அமெரிக்காவின் முதலாவது காகித நாணயம், மசாசூசெட்சில் 1690ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 3ஆம் தேதி அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்பட்டது - America's first paper currency was introduced in Massachusetts on February 3, 1690.
🌟வில்லியம் டேவிட் கூலிட்ஜ், அமெரிக்க இயற்பியலாளர், எக்ஸ்ரே இயந்திரங்களில் பெரும் பங்களிப்பு செய்தவர், 1975 ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 3 ஆம் தேதி (இன்று) காலமானார் - William David Coolidge, American physicist, who made the major contributions to X-ray machines, was passed away (today) on 3rd February 1975.
