பஸ் ஆல்ட்ரின் - Buzz Aldrin - American Former Astronaut - Engineer - Pilot (Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin are the first two people to land on the Moon) :
✒️American astronaut and pilot Buzz Aldrin was born on January 20, 1930 in Glen Rich, New Jersey. His real name is Edwin Eugene Aldrin. He was called by the name Buzz from birth. Hence, he officially changed his name to 'Buzz Aldrin' in 1988. In 1963, he joined the NASA space program and selected to go on the Gemini 12 spacecraft. He was the second man to land on the moon, traveling with Neil Armstrong in Apollo 11, the first spacecraft to land on the moon.
- அமெரிக்க விண்வெளி வீரரும், விமானியுமான பஸ் ஆல்ட்ரின் 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 20ஆம் தேதி நியூ ஜெர்சியிலுள்ள கிளென் ரிட்ச்சில் பிறந்தார். இவரின் இயற்பெயர் எட்வின் யூஜின் ஆல்ட்ரின் ஆகும். இவர் பஸ் (Buzz) என்ற பெயரிலேயே பிறப்பில் இருந்து அழைக்கப்பட்டு வந்தார். எனவே, இவர் தனது பெயரை 'பஸ் ஆல்ட்ரின்" என அதிகாரப்பூர்வமாக 1988ஆம் ஆண்டு மாற்றிக் கொண்டார். 1963ஆம் ஆண்டு நாசா விண்வெளிப் பயிற்சியில் இணைந்தார். ஜெமினி 12 விண்கலத்தில் செல்வதற்கு தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். முதன்முதலாக சந்திரனுக்கு மனிதரை ஏற்றிச் சென்ற அப்பல்லோ 11 விண்கலத்தில், நீல் ஆம்ஸ்ட்ராங் உடன் நிலவை நோக்கி பயணம் செய்த இவர், சந்திரனில் இறங்கிய இரண்டாவது மனிதர் என்ற பெருமைக்குரியவர்.
ஜோஹன்னஸ் ஜென்சன் - Johannes Vilhelm Jensen - Danish Author - Noble Laureate :
✒️The great writer Johannes Vilhelm Jensen was born on January 20, 1873 in Denmark. While studying medicine which covered many scientific fields, he developed an interest in the creative field and eventually decided to become a writer. The story series "Himmerland Stories" published from 1898 to 1910 brought him name and fame. His historical novel "The Fall of the King" is hailed as Denmark's most significant historical novel. He has written 6 books titled 'Den Lange Rejse' based on the theories of evolution. He received the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1944. Johannes Vilhelm Jensen, who contributed greatly to the field of poetry, died on November 25, 1950.
- தலைசிறந்த எழுத்தாளரான ஜோஹன்னஸ் வில்ஹெம் ஜென்சன் 1873ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 20ஆம் தேதி டென்மார்க்கின் ஃபார்சோ நகர் அருகே உள்ள ஹிம்மர்லேண்ட் கிராமத்தில் பிறந்தார். பல அறிவியல் துறைகளை உள்ளடக்கிய மருத்துவ படிப்பு படிக்கும்போது, இவருக்கு படைப்புக் களத்தில் ஆர்வம் அதிகமானதால் இறுதியில், எழுத்தாளராக வேண்டும் என தீர்மானித்தார். 1898ஆம் ஆண்டு முதல் 1910ஆம் ஆண்டு வரை வெளிவந்த 'ஹிம்மர்லேண்ட் ஸ்டோரிஸ்" (Himmerland Stories) என்ற கதைத்தொடர் இவருக்கு பெயரையும், புகழையும் பெற்றுத் தந்தது. இவர் எழுதிய கொன்ஜென்ஸ் ஃபால்ட் (The Fall of the King) என்ற வரலாற்று நாவல் டென்மார்க்கின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க வரலாற்று நாவல் என்று போற்றப்படுகிறது. பரிணாம வளர்ச்சி குறித்து ஆராய்ந்து அவற்றுக்கான கோட்பாடுகளின் அடிப்படையில் 'டென் லாங்கெ ரெஜ்சி"(Den Lange Rejse) என்ற தலைப்பில் 6 நூல்களை எழுதியுள்ளார். 1944ஆம் ஆண்டு இலக்கியத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசை பெற்றார். கவிதைக் களத்தில் சிறப்பாக பங்காற்றிய ஜோஹன்னஸ் வில்ஹெம் ஜென்சன் 1950ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 25ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1775ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 20ஆம் தேதி பிரான்சிய இயற்பியலாளரும், கணிதவியலாளருமான ஆந்த்ரே-மேரி ஆம்பியர் பிறந்தார் - French physicist and mathematician Andre-Marie Ampere was born on January 20, 1775.
🌟டேவிட் மோரிஸ் லீ, அமெரிக்க இயற்பியலாளர், நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றவர், ஹீலியம்-3 இல் மிதமிஞ்சிய திரவத்தைக் கண்டுபிடித்ததற்காக அறியப்பட்டவர், ஜனவரி 20, 1931 இல் பிறந்தார் - David Morris Lee, American physicist, Nobel Laureate, known for the discovery of superfluidity in helium-3, was born on January 20, 1931.
🌟 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 20ஆம் தேதி கர்நாடக இசை வல்லுநர் பெரியசாமி தூரன் மறைந்தார் - Carnatic musician Periyasaamy Thooran passed away on January 20, 1987.
