The National Tax Tribunal Act, 2005 :

✒️It was enacted on 20th december 2005 and came into force on 28th december 2005, to provide for the adjudication by the National Tax Tribunal of disputes with respect to levy, assessment, collection and enforcement of direct taxes and also to provide for the adjudication by that Tribunal of disputes with respect to the determination of the rates of duties of customs and central excise on goods and the valuation of goods for the purposes of assessment of such duties as well as in matters relating to levy of tax on service, in pursuance of article 323B of the Constitution and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The State Emblem of India (Prohibition of Improper Use) Act, 2005 :

✒️It was enacted on 20th December 2005 & came into force on 12th September 2007, to prohibit the improper use of State Emblem of India for professional and commercial purpose and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007 :

✒️It was enacted on 20th December 2007 & came into force on 12th August 2008, to provide for the regulation and supervision of payment systems in India and to designate the Reserve Bank of India as the authority for that purpose and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against Safety of Maritime Navigation and Fixed Platforms on Continental Shelf Act, 2002 :

✒️It was enacted on 20th December 2002 & came into force on 1st February 2003, to give effect to the International Maritime Organisation Convention for Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Maritime Navigation and the Protocol for the Suppression of Unlawful Acts Against the Safety of Fixed Platforms Located on the Continental Shelf and for matters connected therewith.

The Sashastra Seema Bal Act, 2007 :

✒️It was enacted on 20th December 2007 & came into force on 1st August 2009, to provide for the constitution and regulation of an armed force of the Union for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith.

The Working Journalists and other Newspaper Employees (Conditions of Service) and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1955:

✒️It was enacted &;enforced on 20th December 1955, to regulate certain conditions of service of working journalists and other persons employed in newspaper establishments.

The United Nations (Privileges and Immunities) Act, 1947 :

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 20th December 1947, to give effect to the Convection on the Privileges and immunities of the United Nations.

The United Nations (Security Council) Act, 1947 :

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 20th December 1947, to enable effect to be given to certain provisions of the Charter of the United Nations.

சர்வதேச மனித ஒருமைப்பாடு தினம் - International Human Solidarity Day :

✒️International Day of Human Solidarity is celebrated on 20th December every year since its declaration. The United Nations General Assembly established a fund on 20th December 2002 under the Global Solidarity Programme and Its mission is to eradicate poverty and promote human social development in developing countries. Hence, the day is celebrated as a way to promote unity among the people in different parts of the country, peace, prosperity and sustainable progress in the future generations.

• சர்வதேச மனித ஒருமைப்பாடு தினம் டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

• ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் பொதுச்சபை 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி உலக ஒருமைப்பாடு திட்டத்தின் கீழ் ஒரு நிதியத்தை நிறுவியது. வளரும் நாடுகளில் வறுமையை ஒழிப்பது மற்றும் மனித சமூக மேம்பாட்டிற்கு உதவுவதே இதன் நோக்கமாகும்.

• நாட்டின் பல்வேறு இடங்களிலுள்ள மக்களிடம் ஒருமைப்பாட்டை மேம்படுத்துவதற்கான வழிகள், அமைதி, செழிப்பு, வளரும் தலைமுறையினரிடம் நிலையான முன்னேற்றம் ஏற்படவே இத்தினம் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

Robert Jemison Van de Graaff - Engineer & Inventor

ராபர்ட் ஜேமிசன் வான் டி கிராஃப் - Robert Jemison Van de Graaff - American Engineer & Inventor, Invented Van de Graaff Generator :

✒️American inventor Robert Jamison Van de Graaff was born on December 20, 1901 in the United States. He broke his leg playing soccer as a child and was home for months, for utilizing those break he read many books on engines related. He later earned a master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Alabama. Fascinated by Marie Curie's 1924 explanation of the process of the atom, he became involved in the study of atomic energy. Also, he made many improvements in the field of electrical acceleration. He began efforts to improve the Kelvin-type high-voltage generator and eventually built a 43-foot-tall generator producing 7 million volts. He got a license for this generator in 1935. It was helpful to the medical field. During World War II he was put in charge of X-ray inspection of naval equipment using his generator. Van de Graaff, who later carried out various researches including atomic research and discovered many important devices, died on January 16, 1967.

• அமெரிக்க கண்டுபிடிப்பாளரான ராபர்ட் ஜேமிசன் வான் டி கிராஃப் 1901ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவில் பிறந்தார்.

• அவர் சிறுவயதில் கால்பந்து விளையாடும்போது கால் முறிந்ததால் பல மாதங்கள் வீட்டிலிருந்தார். அப்போது இன்ஜின்கள் குறித்து பல நூல்களைப் படித்தார்.

• பின்பு அலபாமா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் மெக்கானிக்கல் இன்ஜினியரிங்கில் முதுகலைப் பட்டம் பெற்றார். 1924ஆம் ஆண்டு மேரி க்யூரி அணுக்கருவை குறித்து சில செயல்முறை விளக்கங்களை கொடுத்ததை கண்டு கவரப்பட்ட இவர் அணு ஆற்றல் குறித்த ஆய்வுகளில் ஈடுபட்டார்.

• மேலும், இவர் மின்னியல் ஆக்ஸிலரேஷன் துறையிலும் பல மேம்பாடுகளை செய்துள்ளார். கெல்வின் வகை உயர் மின்னழுத்த ஜெனரேட்டரை மேம்படுத்தும் முயற்சியை தொடங்கி இறுதியாக, 7 மில்லியன் வோல்ட் உற்பத்தி செய்யும் 43 அடி உயர ஜெனரேட்டரை உருவாக்கினார். இந்த ஜெனரேட்டருக்கு 1935ஆம் ஆண்டு உரிமம் பெற்றார். இது மருத்துவத்துறைக்கு உதவியாக இருந்தது.

• இரண்டாம் உலகப்போரில் இவரது ஜெனரேட்டரை பயன்படுத்தி கடற்படை தளவாடங்களை எக்ஸ்-ரே ஆய்வு செய்வதற்கான பொறுப்பில் நியமிக்கப்பட்டார். பின்பு அணு ஆராய்ச்சி உள்ளிட்ட பல்வேறு ஆராய்ச்சிகளை மேற்கொண்டு முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த பல சாதனங்களைக் கண்டுபிடித்த வான் டி கிராஃப் 1967ஆம் ஆண்டு மறைந்தார்.

🌟போதைப் பொருள் கடத்தலுக்கு எதிரான ஐ.நா., உடன்படிக்கை வியன்னாவில், 1988ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி கையெழுத்தானது - The UN Convention against Drug Trafficking was signed in Vienna on 20th December 1988.

🌟 1969ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி பெண் இயக்கத்திற்காகப் பாடுபட்ட சமூக சீர்த்திருத்த சிந்தனையாளர் சகோதரி சுபலட்சுமி மறைந்தார் - On December 20, 1969, Sister Subhalakshmi, a social reform thinker who worked for the women's movement, passed away.

🌟 1955ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 20ஆம் தேதி கார்டிஃப் வேல்சின் தலைநகரமாக அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது - Cardiff was declared the capital of Wales on 20 December 1955.
