The Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971:

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 23rd December 1971, to prevent insults to national honour.


The Arms Act, 1959 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 1959 and enforced on 1st October 1962, to consolidate and amend the law relating to arms and ammunition.


The Disaster Management Act, 2005 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 2005 and enforced on 28th July 2006, to provide for the effective management of disasters and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


The Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 1986 and enforced on 26th May 1993, to prohibit the engagement of children in all occupations and to prohibit the engagement of adolescents in hazardous occupations and processes and the matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


The Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd december 1986 & enforced on 2nd October 1987, to prohibit indecent representation of women through advertisements or in publications, writings, paintings, figures or in any other manner and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


The National Housing Bank Act, 1987 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 1987 & came into force on 9th July 1988, to establish a bank to be known as the National Housing Bank to operate as a principal agency to promote housing finance institutions both at local and regional levels and to provide financial and other support to such institutions and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


The Railway Claims Tribunal Act, 1987 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 1987 & came into force on 8th November 1989, to provide for the establishment of a Railway Claims Tribunal for inquiring into and determining claims against a railway administration for loss, destruction, damage, deterioration or non-delivery of animals or goods entrusted to it to be carried by railway or for the refund of fares or freight or for compensation for death or injury to passengers occurring as a result of railway accidents or untoward incidents and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.


The All India Council for Technical Education Act, 1987 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 1987 and enforced on 28th March 1988, to provide for the establishment of an All India Council for Technical Education with a view to the proper planning and co-ordinated development of the technical education system throughout the country, the promotion of qualitative improvement of such education in relation to planned quantitative growth and the regulation and proper maintenance of norms and standards in the technical education system and for matters connected therewith.


The Coir Industry Act, 1953 :

✒️It was enacted on 23rd December 1953 and enforced on 9th February 1954, to provide for the establishment of a Board for the development of the Coir Industry and for that purpose to levy a customs duty on coir fiber, coir yarn and coir products exported from India and for matters connected therewith.


Charan Singh - Former Prime Minister of India

சரண் சிà®™் - Chaudhary Charan Singh - Former Prime Minister of India - champion of India's peasants - Served as the 5th Prime Minister of India between 28 July 1979 and 14 January 1980 ("Farmers Day" also celebrated today to mark the birth anniversary of Choudhary Charan Singh:

✒️Charan Singh, the former Prime Minister of India, was born on 23 December 1902 in Noorpur, Meerut District, Uttar Pradesh. Charan Singh entered politics as part of the Freedom Movement. After independence he has worked in various departments like Revenue, Medicine and Public Health, Justice, Information, Agriculture. Charan Singh, who created great faith among lakhs of farmers, was died on 29th May 1987.
  • இந்தியாவின் à®®ுன்னாள் பிரதமரான சரண் சிà®™் 1902ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 23ஆம் தேதி உத்தரப்பிரதேச à®®ாநிலத்தில் உள்ள à®®ீரட் à®®ாவட்டத்தின் நூà®°்பூà®°ில் பிறந்தாà®°்.

  • இவரது பிறந்த தினம், தேசிய விவசாயிகள் தினமாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

  • சரண் சிà®™் சுதந்திà®° இயக்கத்தின் பகுதியாக அரசியலில் நுà®´ைந்தாà®°். சுதந்திரத்திà®±்கு பிறகு இவர் வருவாய், மருத்துவம் மற்à®±ுà®®் பொது சுகாதாà®°à®®், நீதி, தகவல், வேளாண்à®®ை ஆகிய பல துà®±ைகளில் பணிபுà®°ிந்துள்ளாà®°். 

  • இவருடைய ஆட்சியின்போது தான் விவசாயிகளின் விளைபொà®°ுள் விà®±்பனைக்காக 'வேளாண் விளைபொà®°ுள் சந்தை மசோதா'வையுà®®் à®…à®±ிà®®ுகப்படுத்தினாà®°், 'ஜமீன்தாà®°ி à®’à®´ிப்புà®®ுà®±ை சட்டத்தை கொண்டு வந்தாà®°்.

  • இலட்சக்கணக்கான விவசாயிகள் மத்தியில் பெà®°ுà®®் நம்பிக்கையை உருவாக்கிய சரண் சிà®™் 1987ஆம் ஆண்டு à®®ே 29ஆம் தேதி மறைந்தாà®°்.

🌟 à®®ுதல் டிà®°ான்சிஸ்டர் பெல் ஆய்வுக்கூடத்தில் 1947ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 23ஆம் தேதி வெà®±்à®±ிகரமாக பரிசோதிக்கப்பட்டது - The first transistor is successfully demonstrated at Bell Laboratories on 23rd December 1947.


🌟 உலகின் à®®ிகப்பெà®°ிய இருà®®்பினாலான டோக்கியோ கோபுà®°à®®், 1958ஆம் ஆண்டு டிசம்பர் 23ஆம் தேதி திறக்கப்பட்டது - The world largest iron made Tokyo Tower was opened on 23rd December 1958.


🌟 ஸ்டீஃபன் வால்டர் ஹெல், à®°ோà®®ானிய-ஜெà®°்மன் இயற்பியலாளர், வேதியியலில், ஃப்ளோரசன்ஸ் நுண்ணோக்கியின் à®®ேà®®்படுத்தலுக்காக  2014 இல் நோபல் பரிசு பெà®±்றவர், டிசம்பர் 23ஆம் தேதி 1962 இல் பிறந்தாà®°் - Stefan Walter Hell, Romanian-German Physicist, Won Nobel Prize in 2014 for chemistry for the development of fluorescence microscopy, was born on 23rd December 1962.
