The Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987 :

✒️It was enacted on 11th October 1987 and came into force on 9th November 1995, to constitute legal services authorities to provide free and competent legal services to the weaker sections of the society to ensure that opportunities for securing justice are not denied to any citizen by reason of economic or other disabilities, and to organise Lok Adalats to secure that the operation of the legal system promotes justice on a basis of equal opportunity.

தேசிய சட்ட சேவைகள் தினம் - National Legal Services Day :

✒️National Legal Services Day is celebrated annually on November 9 by state officials in India to make people aware of the various provisions under the Legal Services Authorities Act and the right of the litigants. On this day Legal education camps are held in important capitals of the country. The Supreme Court of India launched the Free Legal Service on 9th November 1995 to provide assistance and support to the disabled, vulnerable, the poor, women, children, the downtrodden, and victims of natural disasters. The main objective is to promote settlements of disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Mechanisms. Various kinds of ADR mechanisms are Arbitration, Conciliation, Judicial settlement including settlement through Lok Adalat, or Mediation and also includes to provide compensation to victims of crime. On this day Legal awareness is created for students and children at an early age to know about constitutional rights and related laws.

• ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் நவம்பர் 9 ஆம் தேதி, தேசிய சட்ட சேவைகள் தினம், 1995 ஆம் ஆண்டு நடைமுறைக்கு வந்த  Legal Services Authorities Act 1987-இன் தொடக்கத்தைக் குறிக்கும் வகையில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

• இத்தினத்தில், சட்டக் கல்வி சார்ந்த முகாம்கள் நாட்டின் முக்கியமான தலைநகரங்களில் நடத்தப்படுகின்றன. ஊனமுற்றவர்கள், பலவீனமானவர்கள், ஏழைகள், பெண்கள், குழந்தைகள், தாழ்த்தப்பட்டவர்கள், இயற்கை சீற்றத்தால் பாதித்தவர்கள் ஆகியோருக்கு உதவி மற்றும் ஆதரவை வழங்க உச்சநீதிமன்றம் 1995ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 9ம் தேதி அன்று இலவச சட்ட சேவையை துவக்கியது.

• இளம் வயதில் மாணவர்கள் மற்றும் குழந்தைகள் அரசியலமைப்பு உரிமைகளையும், அதன் தொடர்பான சட்டங்களையும் தெரிந்துகொள்ள இத்தினத்தில் விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்தப்படுகிறது.

கே.ஆர்.நாராயணன் - K.R.Narayanan - Former President of India :

✒️Today is K.R.Narayanan's Memorial Day!

✒️Former President of India K.R.Narayanan was born on 27th October, 1920 in Uzhavoor, Kerala. He joined the Indian Foreign Service (IFS) when Jawaharlal Nehru was Prime Minister and served as Indian Ambassador to Japan, England, Thailand, Turkey, China and the United States. Then he entered politics in 1984 and won 3 consecutive terms as a member of Ottapalam Lok Sabha. He served as Union Minister of State in Rajiv Gandhi's cabinet. He was elected as the Vice President of India in 1992. Then he served as the President from 25th July 1997 to 25th July 2002. K.R.Narayanan who was an example of how hard work and talent can face any situation and achieve success was passed away on 9th November, 2005.

• இன்று இவரின் நினைவு தினம்!
• இந்தியாவின் முன்னாள் குடியரசுத் தலைவர் கே.ஆர்.நாராயணன் 1920ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 27ஆம் தேதி கேரள மாநிலம், உழவூரில் பிறந்தார்.

• இவர் ஜவஹர்லால் நேரு பிரதமராக இருந்தபோது, இந்திய வெளியுறவு ஆட்சிப் பணியில் (I.F.S) சேர்ந்து ஜப்பான், இங்கிலாந்து, தாய்லாந்து, துருக்கி, சீனா, அமெரிக்கா ஆகிய நாடுகளின் இந்தியத் தூதராக பணியாற்றினார்.

• பின்பு 1984ஆம் ஆண்டு அரசியலுக்கு வந்த இவர், ஒட்டப்பாலம் மக்களவை உறுப்பினராக தொடர்ந்து 3 முறை வெற்றி பெற்றார். ராஜீவ் காந்தி அமைச்சரவையில், மத்திய இணையமைச்சராக பொறுப்பு வகித்தார்.

• இவர் 1992ஆம் ஆண்டு இந்தியாவின் துணை குடியரசுத் தலைவராகத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். பிறகு 1997ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 25ஆம் தேதி முதல் 2002ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜூலை 25ஆம் தேதி வரை குடியரசுத் தலைவராக பதவி வகித்தார்.

• கடின உழைப்பும், திறமையும் இருந்தால் எந்த சூழ்நிலையையும் எதிர்கொண்டு வெற்றியை எட்ட முடியும் என்பதற்கு உதாரணமாகத் திகழ்ந்த கே.ஆர்.நாராயணன் 2005ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 9ந் தேதி (இன்று) மறைந்தார்.
