உலக ஆர்த்ரிடிஸ் தினம் - World Arthritis Day :
✒️Since 1996, October 12 has been observed as International Arthritis Day (a) World Arthritis Day. The event is observed to create awareness among people about Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Diseases (RMDs). The aim is to not only create awareness about the disease but also inform the caregivers about the disease sufferers through social networking sites.
- 1996ஆம் ஆண்டிலிருந்து அக்டோபர் 12ஆம் தேதியை சர்வதேச மூட்டு அழற்சி நோய் தினம் (அ) உலக ஆர்த்ரிடிஸ் தினமாக கடைபிடிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- இத்தினம் கீல்வாதம் மற்றும் தசை நோய்கள் (RMDs) பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை மக்களிடம் ஏற்படுத்துவதற்காக அனுசரிக்கப்படுகிறது.
- நோய்களை பற்றிய விழிப்புணர்வை ஏற்படுத்துவது மட்டுமல்லாமல் இந்நோயால் பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்களின் தகவல்களை சமூக வலைதளங்களின் மூலம் பராமரிப்பாளர்களுக்கு தகவல் தெரிவிப்பது இத்தினத்தின் நோக்கமாகும்.
எல்மர் அம்ப்ரோஸ் ஸ்பெர்ரி - Elmer Ambrose Sperry - American Inventor - Entrepreneur :
✒️Elmer Ambrose Sperry, American inventor, who discovered the gyrocompass used in ships, was born on 12th October, 1860 in the United States. He has worked closely with Japanese companies and the Japanese government. Such a great inventor died on 16th June, 1930 in New York.
- கப்பல்களில் பயன்படும் சுழிதிசைகாட்டியை (gyrocompass) கண்டறிந்த எல்மர் அம்ப்ரோஸ் ஸ்பெர்ரி 1860ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 12ஆம் தேதி அமெரிக்காவில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவர் ஜப்பானீஸ் நிறுவனங்கள் மற்றும் ஜப்பானீஸ் அரசாங்கத்துடன் நெருக்கமாக பணியாற்றியுள்ளார்.
- அமெரிக்க கண்டுபிடிப்பாளரான எல்மர் அம்ப்ரோஸ் ஸ்பெர்ரி 1930ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுன் 16ந் தேதி நியூயார்க்கில் மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1964ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 12ஆம் தேதி சோவியத் ஒன்றியம் வஸ்கோத் 1 விண்கலத்தை விண்ணுக்கு ஏவியது. அதுவே பல விண்வெளி வீரர்களை விண்ணுக்கு கொண்டு சென்ற முதலாவது விண்கலம் ஆகும் - On October 12, 1964, the Soviet Union launched the Vaskhod 1 spacecraft. It was the first spacecraft to carry many astronauts into space.
🌟 1999ஆம் ஆண்டு அக்டோபர் 12ஆம் தேதி உலகின் மக்கள் தொகை 6 பில்லியனை எட்டியது - On October 12, 1999, the world's population reached 6 billion.
