The Semiconductor Integrated Circuits Layout-Design Act, 2000 :

✒️It was enacted on 4th September 2000 and came into force on 1st May 2004, to provide for the protection of semiconductor integrated circuits layout-designs and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The National Commission for Safai Karamcharis Act, 1993 : 

✒️It was enacted on 4th September 1993 & came into force on 12th August 1994, to constitute a National Commission for Safai Karamcharis and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The Oil and Natural Gas Commission (Transfer of Undertaking and Repeal) Act, 1993 : 

✒️It was enacted on 4th September, 1993 & as per Sec 1(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on 2nd day of July, 1993, to provide for the transfer and vesting of the undertaking of the Oil and Natural Gas Commission to and in the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto and also to repeal the Oil and Natural Gas Commission Act, 1959.

தாதாபாய் நௌரோஜி - Dadabhai Naoroji (Grand Old Man of India) - Indian Political Leader - Writer - Scholar :

✒️Dadabhai Naoroji, who founded the Indian National Congress to carry forward the freedom struggle, was born on 4th September 1825 in Mumbai. He served as Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Natural Philosophy at Elphinstone College. He was the first Indian to work as a professor in the college. He was elected as the President of the Indian National Congress 3 times. Served as Member of Bombay Legislative Assembly (1885-88). He expressed the grief of Indians in the British Parliament. He was the mentor of great leaders like Gandhiji and Tilak. He explained with statistics that the whites had looted India's resources and financial resources. He pointed out in 1870 that the per capita income of Indians was only Rs.20. Dadabhai Naoroji wrote the facts about the tyrannical rule of the British in his book 'Poverty and Un-British Rule in India'. He died on 30th June 1917.

  • சுதந்திரப் போராட்டத்தை முன்னெடுத்துச் செல்லும் வகையில் இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸை நிறுவிய தாதாபாய் நௌரோஜி 1825ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 4ஆம் தேதி மும்பையில் பிறந்தார்.

  • இவர் எல்பின்ஸ்டன் கல்லூரியில் கணிதம், இயற்கைத் தத்துவ உதவிப் பேராசிரியராகப் பணியாற்றினார். அக்கல்லூரியில் பேராசிரியராகப் பணிபுரிந்த முதல் இந்தியர் இவர் தான்.

  • இந்திய தேசிய காங்கிரஸ் தலைவராக 3 முறை இவர் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்டார். மும்பை சட்டப்பேரவை உறுப்பினராக (1885-1888) பணியாற்றினார்.

  • இவர் பிரிட்டன் பாராளுமன்றத்தில் இந்தியர்களின் துயரத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தினார். இவர் காந்தியடிகள், திலகர் போன்ற பெருந்தலைவர்களின் வழிகாட்டியாகத் திகழ்ந்தவர்.

  • இந்தியாவின் ஆதார வளங்கள், நிதி ஆதாரங்களை வெள்ளையர்கள் கொள்ளை கொண்டதை புள்ளி விவரத்துடன் எடுத்துக்கூறினார். இந்தியர்களின் தனிநபர் வருமானம் வெறும் ரூ.20 தான் என்று 1870ஆம் ஆண்டு சுட்டிக்காட்டினார்.

  • தாதாபாய் நௌரோஜி 'பாவர்ட்டி அண்ட் அன்-பிரிட்டிஷ் ரூல் இன் இண்டியா" என்ற தனது நூலில் பிரிட்டிஷாரின் கொடுங்கோல் ஆட்சி பற்றிய உண்மைகளை எழுதியுள்ளார். இவர் 1917ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜுன் 30ந் தேதி மறைந்தார்.
