The River Board Act, 1956 :
✒️It was enacted on 12th September 1956 and came into force on 15th May 1957, to provide for the establishment of River Boards for the regulation and development of inter-State rivers and river valleys. There are two legislations which have been promulgated under the Constitution to deal with water related disputes. One is the River Boards Act and another is the Interstate River Water Disputes Act, 1956 which came about after the reorganization of states in the year 1956.
The Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 :

சி.வை.தாமோதரம்பிள்ளை - Cirupitty Wyravanathar Thamotharampillai - Pioneer of Tamil Publishing Industry :
✒️C.W.Damodaran Pillai, the pioneer of Tamil publishing industry, was born on September 12, 1832 in Sri Lanka. The ancient Sangat Tamil texts will not be sold and perished, but through his rare searches, he was the man who recovered them, preserved them, compared them, and printed them and kept them alive. In 1895, the government conferred the title of 'Rao Bahadur' on him. Damodaran Pillai was died on 1st January 1901 in Chennai.
- தமிழ் பதிப்புத்துறையின் முன்னோடி சி.வை.தாமோதரம்பிள்ளை 1832ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதி இலங்கையில் பிறந்தார்.

She and her husband Frederic Joliot-Curie shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935. This made their family proud to win the most Nobel Prize from a single family till date. Irene Joliot Curie died on March 17, 1956 in Paris.
