The River Board Act, 1956 :
✒️It was enacted on 12th September 1956 and came into force on 15th May 1957, to provide for the establishment of River Boards for the regulation and development of inter-State rivers and river valleys. There are two legislations which have been promulgated under the Constitution to deal with water related disputes. One is the River Boards Act and another is the Interstate River Water Disputes Act, 1956 which came about after the reorganization of states in the year 1956.
The Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 :
✒️It was enacted on 12th September 1990 & came into force on 15th September 1997, to provide for the establishment of a Broadcasting Corporation for India, to be known as Prasar Bharati, to define its composition, functions and powers and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The Airports Authority of India Act, 1994 :
✒️It was enacted on 12th September 1994 & came into force on 1st April 1995, to provide for the constitution of the Airports Authority of India and for the transfer and vesting of the undertakings of the International Airports Authority of India and the National Airports Authority to and in the Airports Authority of India so constituted for the better administration and cohesive management of airports and civil enclaves whereat air transport services are operated or are intended to be operated and of all aeronautical communication stations for the purposes of establishing or assisting in the establishment of airports and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
தெற்கு - தெற்கு ஒத்துழைப்பு ஐக்கிய நாடுகள் தினம் - United National Day for South – South Co-operation :
✒️Global crises of finance, food supplies, and climate change are forcing greater cooperation among developing countries. South-South trade and investment have increased. At the same time, it has to play an important role in measures against climate change. Celebrated on December 19, the day was changed to September 12 in 2011 by the UN.
- நிதி, உணவுப் பொருட்கள், வெப்பநிலை மாற்றம் ஆகியவற்றால் உலக அளவில் ஏற்பட்டுள்ள நெருக்கடிகள், வளரும் நாடுகள் மத்தியில் அதிக ஒத்துழைப்பை ஏற்படுத்துகின்றன. தெற்கு-தெற்கு வியாபாரம், முதலீடு போன்றவை உயர்ந்துள்ளன. அதே சமயத்தில் வெப்பநிலை மாற்றத்திற்கு எதிரான நடவடிக்கைகளில் முக்கிய பங்காற்ற வேண்டியுள்ளது. டிசம்பர் 19 அன்று கொண்டாடப்பட்ட இத்தினம் ஐ.நா.வால் செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதிக்கு 2011ஆம் ஆண்டு மாற்றப்பட்டது.

சி.வை.தாமோதரம்பிள்ளை - Cirupitty Wyravanathar Thamotharampillai - Pioneer of Tamil Publishing Industry :
✒️C.W.Damodaran Pillai, the pioneer of Tamil publishing industry, was born on September 12, 1832 in Sri Lanka. The ancient Sangat Tamil texts will not be sold and perished, but through his rare searches, he was the man who recovered them, preserved them, compared them, and printed them and kept them alive. In 1895, the government conferred the title of 'Rao Bahadur' on him. Damodaran Pillai was died on 1st January 1901 in Chennai.
- தமிழ் பதிப்புத்துறையின் முன்னோடி சி.வை.தாமோதரம்பிள்ளை 1832ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதி இலங்கையில் பிறந்தார்.
- பண்டைய சங்கத் தமிழ் நூல்கள் செல்லரித்து அழிந்து போகாது, தமது அரிய தேடல்கள் மூலம் அவற்றை மீட்டெடுத்து, காத்து, ஒப்பிட்டு பரிசோதித்து, அச்சிட்டு வாழ வைத்த முதல்வர்.
- 1895ஆம் ஆண்டு இவருக்கு அரசு 'ராவ் பகதூர்" என்ற பட்டத்தை வழங்கியது. 1901ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜனவரி 1ஆம் தேதி சென்னையில் தாமோதரம்பிள்ளை மறைந்தார்.
ஐரீன் ஜோலியட் கியூரி - Irene Joliot-Curie - French Chemist - Physicist - Politician :
✒️Irene Joliot Curie, the French scientist who developed synthetic radioactivity, was born on September 12, 1897 in Paris. She and her husband Frederic Joliot-Curie shared the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1935. This made their family proud to win the most Nobel Prize from a single family till date. Irene Joliot Curie died on March 17, 1956 in Paris.
- செயற்கை கதிரியக்கத்தை உருவாக்கிய பிரெஞ்சு அறிவியலாளரான ஐரீன் ஜோலியட் கியூரி 1897ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதி பாரிஸில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவரும், இவரது கணவர் பிரெடரிக் ஜோலியட்-கியூரியும் இணைந்து 1935ஆம் ஆண்டில் வேதியியலுக்கான நோபல் பரிசினை வென்றனர்.
- இதன்மூலம் இன்றுவரை ஒரு குடும்பத்திலிருந்து மிகக்கூடுதலான நோபல் பரிசு வென்ற பெருமை இவர்களது குடும்பத்திற்கு கிடைத்தது.

🌟 1981ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதி இத்தாலியக் கவிஞரும், இலக்கியத்திற்கான நோபல் பரிசு பெற்றவருமான எயுஜேனியோ மொண்டாலே மறைந்தார் - Italian Poet and Nobel laureate Eugenio Montale died on September 12, 1981.

🌟 1959ஆம் ஆண்டு செப்டம்பர் 12ஆம் தேதி லூனா 2 விண்கலத்தை சோவியத் ஒன்றியம் ஏவியது. சந்திரனை அடைந்த முதலாவது விண்கலம் இதுவாகும் - The Soviet Union launched Luna 2 on September 12, 1959. It was the first spacecraft to reach the moon.
