The Territorial Waters, Continental Shelf, Exclusive Economic Zone and Other Maritime Zones Act, 1976 :
✒️It was enacted on 25th August 1976 and came into force on 15th January 1977, to provide for certain matters relating to the territorial waters continental shelf, exclusive economic zone and other maritime zones of India.
The Hindu Minority and Guardianship Act, 1956 :
✒️It was enacted & enforced on 25th August 1956, to amend and codify certain parts of the law relating to minority and guardianship among Hindus.

கிருபானந்த வாரியார் - Thirumuruga Kirupanandha Variyar - Spiritual Teacher, Lord Murugan Devotee :
✒️Thirumuruga Kripananda Variyar, who spread spiritual ideas in an interesting and simple style, was born on 25th August 1906 at Kangeyanallur, near katpadi in Vellore district. His father once sent him away because he could not attend a lecture he had agreed to. The eloquence of the youth, which overflowed like a flood, mesmerized them. His very first speech brought him into fame. It was him who bestowed the title of 'Ponmana Semmel' on MGR. He received many awards for his spiritual works. He was honored by the Chennai Tamil Music Society with the title of 'Isai Perarignar' (Music Philosopher). He inculcated piety and virtue among the people through spiritual discourses throughout his life. He has written more than 150 books and more than 500 articles including 'Sivanarutselvar', 'Kandhavel Karunai', 'Ramakaaviyam', 'Mahabharatham'. Thirumuruga Kripanandha Variyar, who was praised as 'Senthamizh Kadal', 'Arulmozhi Arasu' and 'Thirupugazh Jyothi', was passed away on 7th November, 1993 during a flight journey.
- சுவாரஸ்யமான, எளிய நடையில் ஆன்மிக கருத்துக்களை பரப்பிய திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் 1906ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 25ஆம் தேதி வேலூர் மாவட்டம் காட்பாடியை அடுத்த காங்கேயநல்லூரில் பிறந்தார்.
- இவருடைய தந்தை ஒருமுறை, தான் ஒப்புக்கொண்ட சொற்பொழிவுக்கு செல்ல இயலாததால், இவரை அனுப்பி வைத்தார். மடைதிறந்த வெள்ளமாகப் பெருக்கெடுத்த இளைஞனின் சொல்லாற்றல் அவையோரை மெய்மறக்கச் செய்தது. இவருக்கு முதல் சொற்பொழிவே பேரும் புகழும் பெற்றுத் தந்தது.
- எம்.ஜி.ஆருக்கு 'பொன்மனச் செம்மல்" என்ற பட்டத்தை சூட்டியது இவர்தான். ஆன்மிக அறப்பணிகளுக்காக ஏராளமான விருதுகள் பெற்றவர். இவருக்கு சென்னை தமிழிசை மன்றம் 'இசைப் பேரறிஞர்" பட்டம் வழங்கி சிறப்பித்தது.
- வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் ஆன்மிகச் சொற்பொழிவுகள் மூலம் பக்தி, நன்னெறியை மக்களிடையே வளர்த்தார். சிவனருட்செல்வர், கந்தவேல் கருணை, ராமகாவியம், மகாபாரதம் உள்ளிட்ட 150-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட நூல்கள், 500-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட கட்டுரைகளை எழுதியுள்ளார்.
- செந்தமிழ் கடல், அருள்மொழி அரசு, திருப்புகழ் ஜோதி என்றெல்லாம் போற்றப்பட்ட திருமுருக கிருபானந்த வாரியார் சுவாமிகள் 1993ஆம் ஆண்டு நவம்பர் 7ந் தேதி விமானப் பயணத்தின் போது மறைந்தார்.

🌟 1908ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 25ஆம் தேதி கதிரியக்கத்தை கண்டுபிடித்த ஹென்றி பெக்கெரல் மறைந்தார் - On August 25, 1908, Henri Becquerel, the inventor of radiation, was passed away.
🌟 1970ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 25ஆம் தேதி, நேர்மையின் இலக்கணமாக திகழ்ந்த, தமிழகத்தை உள்ளடக்கிய சென்னை மாகாணத்தின் முதலாவது முதல்வரான ஓமந்தூர் ராமசாமி ரெட்டியார் மறைந்தார் - On August 25, 1970, Omandur Ramaswamy Reddiyar, the first Chief Minister of Madras Province comprising Tamil Nadu, who was a paragon of honesty, passed away.
🌟 2012ஆம் ஆண்டு ஆகஸ்ட் 25ஆம் தேதி சந்திரனில் தரையிறங்கிய முதல் மனிதர் நீல் ஆம்ஸ்ட்ராங் மறைந்தார் - Neil Armstrong, the first man to land on the moon, passed away on August 25, 2012.
