✒️Famous American fiction writer Ray Bradbury was born on August 22, 1920 in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. He became a full-time writer in 1943. His first collection of short stories, Dark Carnival, published in 1947. In the 1950s, many of his stories were published as comic strips by EC Comics. His novel 'Fahrenheit 451' released in 1953 became world famous. He has received many awards and prizes including the US National Medal of Arts, Special Pulitzer Prize, Emmy Award. The place where the US Curiosity rover vehicle landed on Mars is named 'Bradbury Landing' after him. He used to write for several hours every day. He has written about 600 short stories, numerous poems, essays, screenplays and plays. Ray Bradbury, who breathed in writing, died on June 5, 2012.
