Rangarajan)."

The Specified Bank Notes (Cessation of Liabilities) Act, 2017 :

✒️It was enacted on 27th February 2017 and as per Section 1 (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 31st day of December, 2016, to provide in the public interest for the cessation of liabilities on the specified bank notes and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

According to the Act, possession of more than a certain number of the old Rs. 500 and Rs. 1,000 notes was a criminal offence.

Section 5, prohibits the holding, transferring or receiving of demonitised notes from 31 December, 2016.

According to the Act Possessing more than 10 pieces of old notes by individuals and more than 25 pieces for study, research or numismatics purposes will attract fine of Rs. 10,000 or five times the value of cash held, whichever is higher.

The Magistrate of the First Class or the court of a Metropolitan Magistrate can impose a fine, for contravention of the provisions of this Act.

The Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985 :

✒️It was enacted 27th February 1985 & came into force on 1st July 1985, to provide for the adjudication or trial by Administrative Tribunals of disputes and complaints with respect to recruitment and conditions of service of persons appointed to public services and posts in connection with the affairs of the Union or of any State or of any local or other authority within the territory of India or under the control of the Government of India or of any corporation or society owned or controlled by the Government in pursuance of article 323A of the Constitution and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

The High Courts (Seals) Act, 1950 :

✒️It was enacted & enforced on 27th February 1950, to provide for the use of seals of common form and design by the High Courts in the States.

The Official Trustees Act, 1913 :

✒️It was enacted on 27th February 1913 and came into force on 1st April 1914, To consolidate and amend the law constituting the office of the Official Trustee.

விஜய் சிங் பதிக் - Vijay Singh Pathik - Indian Revolutionary :

✒️Freedom fighter Vijay Singh Pathik was born on February 27, 1882 in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh. He joined the freedom struggle revolution at a young age. His original name was Bhoop Singh Gurjar. His parents changed the name of Bhoop Singh Gurjar to Vijay Singh Pathik. Branches of Kisan Panchayats were started in every village to stop the British from collecting taxes. He led a satyagraha movement called 'Bijoliya Kisan Andolan' for the welfare of farmers. Due to his tireless efforts, the farmers got great success. Through his writings and speeches, he created a desire for freedom struggle among the people. His novel 'Ajay Meru' is very popular. Vijay Singh Pathik died in 1954, who was a revolutionary warrior who spent his entire life in the service of the nation and selflessly strived for social progress.

✒️சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வீரரான விஜய் சிங் பதிக் 1882ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 27ஆம் தேதி உத்திரப் பிரதேசத்தில் புலந்த்ஷஹர் மாவட்டத்தில் பிறந்தார்.

இளம் வயதிலேயே விடுதலைப் போராட்டப் புரட்சி இயக்கத்தில் இணைந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் பூப் சிங் குர்ஜர். இவரது பெற்றோர் பூப் சிங் குர்ஜர் என்ற பெயரை விஜய் சிங் பதிக் என்று மாற்றினர்.

ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் வரி வசூலிப்பதை நிறுத்த ஒவ்வொரு கிராமத்திலும் கிஸான் பஞ்சாயத்தின் கிளைகள் தொடங்கப்பட்டன. விவசாயிகளின் நலனுக்காக பிஜவுலியா கிஸான் ஆந்தோலன் என்ற பெயரில் சத்தியாக்கிரக இயக்கத்தை இவர் நடத்தினார்.

இவரது அயராத முனைப்புகளால் விவசாயிகளுக்கு மகத்தான வெற்றி கிட்டியது. தன் எழுத்துக்களாலும் பேச்சாலும் மக்களிடையே சுதந்திரப் போராட்ட வேட்கையை உண்டாக்கினார். அஜய் மேரு என்ற இவரது நாவல் மிகவும் பிரபலமானது.

புரட்சி வீரராக தனது வாழ்நாள் முழுவதும் தேச சேவையில் ஈடுபட்ட, தன்னலமற்று சமூக முன்னேற்றத்திற்காகப் பாடுபட்டவருமான விஜய் சிங் பதிக் 1954ஆம் ஆண்டு மறைந்தார்.

Chandra Shekhar Azad - Revolutionary

சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத் - Chandra Shekhar Azad - Indian Revolutionary :

✒️Today is his Memorial Day!

✒️Indian freedom fighter Chandrasekhara Azad was born on July 23, 1906 in the state of Madhya Pradesh. His original name was Chandrasekhar Sitaram Tiwari. At the age of 15, he was arrested for participating in Gandhiji's non-cooperation movement and when he was handed over to the court, the judge asked him for his address and he replied that his father's name was "Azad" (freedom) and his address was "Jail". The angry judge ordered him to be jailed for 15 pounds. Asad chanted 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai' with every blow. After such event he was known as 'Chandrasekhara Asad'. He shot himself (age 24) on 27 February 1931 to avoid capture when he was surrounded by the British police after he shot the police officer responsible for the death of Lala Lajpat Rai.

✒️இன்று இவரின் நினைவு தினம் !

இந்திய விடுதலைப் போராட்ட புரட்சி வீரர் சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத் 1906ஆம் ஆண்டு ஜீலை 23ஆம் தேதி மத்திய பிரதேச மாநிலத்தில் பிறந்தார். இவரது இயற்பெயர் சந்திரசேகர சீதாராம் திவாரி ஆகும்.

15 வயதில் காந்தியடிகளின் ஒத்துழையாமை இயக்கத்தில் கலந்துகொண்டு கைது செய்யப்பட்டு நீதிமன்றத்தில் ஒப்படைத்தபோது, நீதிபதி இவரிடம் முகவரியை கேட்டதற்கு தந்தை பெயர் ஆசாத் (விடுதலை), முகவரி சிறை என்று பதில் கூறினார்.

கோபம் அடைந்த நீதிபதி அவரை 15 பிரம்படி கொடுத்து சிறையில் அடைக்க சொன்னார். இவர் ஒவ்வொரு அடி விழும்போதும் 'பாரத் மாதா கீ ஜெய்" என முழங்கினார். பிறகு இவர் 'சந்திரசேகர ஆசாத்" என்று அழைக்கப்பட்டார்.

சுதந்திரத்தை அடைய, இந்துஸ்தான் குடியரசு அமைப்பை தொடங்கிய ராம் பிரசாத் பிஸ்மில்லின் அமைப்பில் இணைந்தார். பகத்சிங் உட்பட பல புரட்சியாளர்களுக்கு இவர் வழிகாட்டியாகத் திகழ்ந்தார்.

லாலா லஜபதி ராயின் மரணத்திற்கு காரணமாக இருந்த போலீஸ் அதிகாரியை சுட்டதால், 1931ஆம் ஆண்டு இவரை ஆங்கிலேய காவல்துறையினர் சுற்றி வளைத்தபோது பிடிபடக்கூடாது என்று தன்னைத்தானே (27.02.1931 - 24 வயது) சுட்டுக்கொண்டார்.

🌟1940ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 27ஆம் தேதி ரேடியோ கார்பன் என்ற கார்பன்-14 கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டது - On February 27, 1940, Carbon-14 (radiocarbon) was discovered.

🌟2008ஆம் ஆண்டு பிப்ரவரி 27ஆம் தேதி தமிழகத்தின் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க எழுத்தாளர்களில் ஒருவரான சுஜாதா (எஸ்.ரங்கராஜன்) மறைந்தார் - Sujatha (S. Rangarajan), one of the notable writers of Tamil Nadu, passed away on February 27, 2008.
